Three rules to remember on the server:

Respect lives and property of other players.

Violators will have their property confiscated and then themselves suspended on repeat offenses.

Reckless use of fire is prohibited.

FTB Unleashed specific: Reckless use of magic (or creating flux) at spawn prohibited.

The server's gotten a lot of projects going on now, for those who are interested.

Diplomatic Immunity is building a lot of railroads, there's a NPC town located and connected to the spawn town. Davril's fort has still room for tenants and an inn in the desert with free beds. Myself I'm working on a little adventure project fair distance away from the spawn. It's still under works, but I can promise there will be a lot of journals to read and loot to find.

I know you said "during the day" but that's a bit nebulous. Would you mind being a little more specific about when you tend to have it up?

After a long, long hiatus due to traveling, using the laptop myself and thunderstorms, Cerberus Daily Crafts returns!

NEWS: There is now a mumble server running on the same computer. Same IP as with the minecraft server, but behind port 64738. Password cerberus.

A question for those who are still interested in the minecraft server I run. Do you want to play with mods? I was thinking of putting up a server for Tekkit Lite modpack with few exclusions (dimensional dungeons and mystcraft are prone to crash) but first I'd like to know if there's demand for it and it won't end up being private playground for me and dippy.

For those concerned, I'll still hold onto the existing vanilla map and could alternate between it and the modded one on request.

I once more have a connection capable of hosting a server from my apartment.

It also runs BukkitCraft and tree logging mod. Cut tree block and anything above it (or next to it) comes tumbling down.

I have received invoice from my fellow students that they wish to have their own minecraft server as well. I could provide this to them.

The question is: Are you interested in playing with Ultimate Feed the Beast modpack? I could run the FTB server on alternating days or alongside the vanilla server.

I have nothing against FTB Ultimate, but wouldn't it be better if you ran Feed The Beast Unleashed since FTB Ultimate isn't being updated anymore?

I'd rather have one single server with more players, but I'm not familiar with the mod. Care to explain it further?

EDIT: I'm looking things over, and it seems like it adds a shitload of new features to the game. While some of this seems fun, it also seems to be hella excessive, at least to me.

I have set the server to run FTB:Unleashed along with hte vanilla. We'll see how it handles double-timing this.

No thaumcrafting at spawn please! Reckless use of magic can create thinning of fabric of the universe near the magic nodes which results in plagues, rogue lightning and hostile wisps. I'd prefer if the spawn wasn't subjected to these side effects.

The servers will be taken down on the coming weekend around 14 GMT on Friday and will return in the Sunday afternoon.

I will be traveling starting this Saturday and returning on the 27th. In the meanwhile, my friend has agreed to run the servers from his home.
