Hybrid Looking for a Job
Contact Me here if hiring.
So yeah. I'm basically bringing back the original thread from the old wasteland known as "Ye Old CerberusDailyNews" (it was pretty dusty over there).

So let's recap!
The question was who's voice would you assign to your character, whether it be your own or someone else's.

Let's make some sense out of that, just in case it doesn't.
You're basically giving your character an actor, so to speak.

Lear'Kaus vas Hybrid (Hybrid): (Currently Undecided... Still)
Elise Vakhordigan (Harbinger_Of_Progress): Colleen Clinkenbeard

Remember, kids: Links aren't necessary, but they are nice to have around :)

Edit: Forget to add this!
Similar to the Character Theme thread, if you'd like to put someone down for a voice that you think fits them, go ahead. Like links, not necessary.

My own, only deeper and posher.

For Jules, my International Relations lecturer, the only man to explain American Hegemony as a mafia in a London accent.

Lassie
I knew who Lascus' voice actor was even before I knew what Lascus' name was going to be. Sam Douglas, the voice of Scott Shelby in the PS3 game "Heavy Rain." That character was the main inspiration for Lascus in the first place.

As for Max, I'm not sure who'd voice him. I'm tempted to say Stephen Colbert, but I'm not sure. Someone pundit-y

Lode One of the "Battered Bastards of Bytown"
I always kinda read my character as, well, myself. Kage, Orion, Hammers, Serpentis, and Nat know what I sound like, so, Yeah...

Hawt Dawg Awooooo!
Hawt Dawg wouldn't be himself without Danny DeVito to voice his short and stout bag of human supremacist snark.

TripleTiptoe
Hmm... very similar to this but obviously with a slightly thicker quarian accent for Leeta.

EmileOB
Emile, as I mentioned in t'other thread, sounds like Dylan Moran. Mirala would have Emma Thompson's voice, Vornyl is a kind of deep-voiced female monotone (as you'd expect), and Linya to me sounds like someone I knew back at uni who was just as bonkers as she is. Which means she shares that mild Scottish accent as well.

There had to be at least one of us.

I still haven't figured out what exactly Najhil sounds like. (I'm sorry, Pariah, I can't picture her sounding like Marge Simpson. xD)

Dit sounds like my imitation of a vorcha. :P

Only one I can think of is Hoshi, who I imagine to be voiced by Hynden Walch using her Starfire voice.

Daia remains her usual non-specific cultured Australian - I think I picked Abbie Cornish last time this came up, but I can't find a youtube clip at the moment that sounds quite right. It varies depending on her mood anyway, and being a pretty good mimic she can put on accents fairly convincingly for particular situations. I like to imagine she (coincidentally) sounds exactly like Samara in her Mass Effect porn role.

Skylar bears mentioning, since she's coming into her own as a proper character now. While her personality has developed itself along the way, I think her voice remains as-is from her genesis - borrowed from The Saboteur when I quickly needed someone to show that Eafina wasn't Daia's only non-CDN friend - so she sounds very Queen's English.
