Everyone said cerberus was gone, that their organization died with the reapers. I suppose it was too much to hope for, because what page should I find left open on a public extranet terminal but a proud cerberus news site with one of the universities own students logged into it. She may not seem like a human supremacist, but it would seem that looks can be deceiving. I can't imagine how stupid you'd have to be to leave yourself publicly logged in to a terrorist site, but there you have it.

You people make me sick! I'll make sure Miss Lombardi gets what's coming to her for siding with a group like you!

This isn't Cerberus, this is an old server of theirs. We basically use it to discuss random stuff. Good to see you're concerned, though.

I'd like to suggest that we rename ourselves as "Extranet Whiners and Psychopaths United"

Greetings! This one extends welcome to the other; it further hopes the other will feel at ease to see non-humans posting.

Please allow it to offer reassurance that while this forum carries the name of the Cerberus sect, the site is not affiliated with the teachings or philosophies of the group in question. This one does not fully understand the details, but knows the site to be currently administrated by salarians. It can assure the other that its student is likely not an indoctrinated terrorist, should that be the other's concern.

This one does note that the other appears to be confrontational, and possibly theatrical (this one understands it is a human cultural tradition to announce the approved name of one's foe with an angered emphasis, such as appears to be the case with the thread's title)- but this one hastily and humbly assures the other they are mistaken!

Perhaps these ones could then refer to the site as EW-PU?

This one is experimenting with acronyms as part of its efforts to be succinct!

EDIT: It has suggested the acronym to some of the younger children being tutored. It is pleased to report that they find it amusing.

EDIT: The other will be pleased to be further informed that the suggested face name and acronym has already become the basis for a quasi-cultural ritual! This one is taking notes. One child waves their clenched appendage and loudly calls the name of Cerberus, and the others respond with the acronym. The elder children seem unamused, however.

I can assure you, as everyone else has explained, this site's only association to Cerberus is the name. And the admins have an explanation in the About page.

Rest assured that Cerberus is still very much dead, and as of yet show no signs of rising from the ashes.

Speculation still abounds as to the original purpose of this site (My pet theory is demographic analysis, propaganda, and PR work), but whatever it was, it quickly turned into one of the more interesting places on the extranet. You can find all kinds here, from LEO's like myself to students, teachers, soldiers, mercenaries, executives, criminals, politicians, and even geth.

I do notice that you are quite quick to condemn your student for merely being here, without any investigation into what the place actually is, let alone her motivation for being here.

Were it so easy. Many of us simply don't have that kind of influence; those that do would risk losing some of it by admitting association with the site.

Of course, anyone investigating this, if they've half a brain, would need only to read through some of the various threads here to see its relative harmlessness.
