I know that she died before she could return to the Fleet, but I wasn't entirely aware of the full details.

You know, when I posted that thread, it didn't take long before I regretted ever putting it up. I broke down, let the stress get to me, putting our operational security at risk. I'm lucky that I wasn't court-martialed for that. I guess it isn't all bad, though. It was found by the right person.

In a team full of guns-for-hire, Sani was the most stable of the bunch. She always remained focused on the task at hand and worked with the team, never stirring up any conflict. Of course, as expected from most quarians, she was a great engineer. She did a lot to help us deal with any tech-related obstacles. Speaking on a more personal level, well, we were good friends, to the point where she made me promise to inform her family if anything happened to her... I kept that promise.

I just wish I could've done something to help her, but... she knew what she was getting into. We all did.

When I heard that the Citadel went dark last year, I was worried, and after the war...I didn't think either of you made it. I'm happy that I was proved wrong.

I've been talking with my krantt (Thaig and a few others that you wouldn't know) lately, and I think that I have enough money saved up from working the nurseries and farms to take maybe a week off to visit the Citadel or Earth; one of them is willing to cover my shifts at the nursery. Transit's expensive these days, but I think I might have enough. If not, I can take a third job at Thaig's bar and earn more that way. I'm not going to smuggle myself around like I did before. Either way, I intend to visit soon to catch up and I was wondering when would be a good time for you two. If you're both busy for the foreseeable future, I can drop the idea though.
