This one is pleased to issue an open invitation to the first Official Leaving The Ducts Fundraising Charity Dinner! Tickets are now available for what is planned to be a most stimulating and enjoyable evening! The charity has rented a comfortably large studio space at the Citadel Centre of the Arts on Tayseri Ward, for an event to be held in two standard weeks' time. Further information is offered below:
[Details: Time and Place] Since the terrible days of the Reaper Invasion and the darkening of so many distinct voices, these ones have collectively strived to rebuild their societies, creating ever more complex arguments for their mutual dependence and capacity for charitable action. This one is proud to work at Leaving the Ducts, floating alongside those who act to better the inhabitants of the Citadel's Tayseri Ward through establishment of community support for dispossessed youngsters! So many of the station's preadults were left unmoored, their parents or guardians among those lost to the Reapers, exacerbating a pre-existing problem that remains a stain on these one's social conscience! Working to improve the prospects of young beings so tragically left adrift is in keeping with the charitable traditions of religions and philosophies across the known galaxy. No child should live in Ducts! Please donate generously! [Leaving the Ducts] (Cue a short video montage that presumably intends to demonstrate an overview of Leaving the Ducts and the work it has been doing. CDN is treated to a quick, not entirely ineffective but very much amateur clip show. Michelle Rondor talking to a reporter outside a shelter; a reasonably large group of asari, with a single salarian amongst them, sitting as though attending a lesson; a classroom in which holographic representations of planets with political or economic significance are displayed before reasonably attentive young teenagers; a close up of Julian Snow with a slightly wary expression “why are you film-”; a recruiter for an Earth-based reconstruction company talking pleasantly to a young turian). Leaving the Ducts hopes that this event will demonstrate for the peoples of the Citadel the valuable work being undertaken in Tayseri to support homeless preadults! Local politicians including the honourable Assemblyman Maxentius Vallario have pledged their personal support, as have local business leaders such as the respectable Manha Abdelli and Benta Fen. Further, a delegation of esteemed scholars from the Illuminated Primacy will be in attendance. This is a unique opportunity for stimulating conversation with influential community figures! As a means to integrate these ones' charitable efforts with the local community even further, the staff of Tayseri Ward’s own Hungry Tides restaurant will be catering the event (it regrets that the original chef was forced to withdraw her commitment due to legal complications). Please visit Hungry Tides Restaurant! The others may find further details and book tickets [here]. All monetary gains will be channelled directly into the charity’s efforts at improving the prospects of homeless youngsters! Post script: It hopes that many members of Cerberus Daily News will attend the dinner, particularly those who have previously supported Leaving the Ducts with donations. The others will learn of how their generous financial offerings have improved the lives of the Citadel’s most vulnerable residents, and of future plans for the charity! It has not included the following notice when announcing the dinner elsewhere, but it believes the members of CDN might require the reassurance: It is aware that a previous charity event (a dance-based festival, it believes) was interrupted by ill-mannered acts of criminality, a distressing occurrence that it wishes to assure the others will not be reproduced here! It has hired discreet security to mingle amidst the guests, so as to ensure lawful behaviour and prevent disruption. "I was blind, and I cannot say I had eyes to see the truth. I was a fool, and I cannot say I had sense to know the truth. I was lost, and I cannot say I could have found the truth. In the darkness, truth found me."

This one would also to say that we are shipping in dextro based fish for a limited time to cater to turians and other dextro based species.
It also urges those of Cerberus Daily News to be on their best behavior. [Kepral's Syndrome: Help find a cure! Donate today] [Help fund the reconstruction of Kahje!] This one welcomes the other to the Hungry Tides. Located [here] on the Tayseri ward. |

Is it a formal wear occasion?

I just received my invite, party of one. Considering your little outfit is two levels from my establishment I am a bit intrigued about the work y'all are doing in Lower Tayseri. I look forward to meeting you and your co-workers Laykalar.

Shirts, pants, and shoes (when applicable to the species will be required) Other questions will have to be directed at the other. [Kepral's Syndrome: Help find a cure! There you have it citizens! Max Vallario isn't just tough on defense, but he's tough on making sure homeless children get help that they so desperately need! I know it's hard to believe your tough, no-nonsense, maverick of an Assemblyman has a sensitive side, but here's the proof! I look forward to attending and drawing more attention to this heartbreaking issue.

You people know you are going to a restaurant ran by a creature that supports child soldiers don't you?
Ah, the irony. |

Ah, the irony. Some of the best chefs I've known were sociopaths. Former mercenary. Part-time Book author. Now teaching whelps history for a living. |

I'll take your word for it.

This one hopes the others will engage in many stimulating debates regarding the tutoring and protection of preadults, should they choose to attend. It must insist, however, that decorum be observed at all times. The dinner is intended to be lively and pleasant, in keeping with charitable values and a sense of supportive community!

I can certainly play music, pro bono! The other would be most welcome! Entertainment is already scheduled, but should the other wish to participate then this one will gladly make room. This one presents its thanks, and is equally cheered by the prospect of meeting the other. It wishes to clarify, however, that it will not be wearing an outfit. Pariah wrote:

These ones are not yet assured of quarian representation at the dinner, but representatives from all Citadel populations are welcome! "I was blind, and I cannot say I had eyes to see the truth. Of course chieftain, it would be our pleasure. Leaving the Ducts offer a training, support and professional opportunities to all Citadel Orphans. We're based on Tayseri Wards, ask me information! Donations are much appreciated. |

A good cause is a good cause, and it's social events like that which make the Citadel remotely enjoyable. I'll be buying a ticket.
