It must note, however, that Leaving the Ducts depends upon community support. Others may seek to judge the charity by those it occasionally affiliates with, but it must surely be noted that these ones have not endorsed any perspective but the values upon which the charity was founded! These ones are not expressing support for private viewpoints but merely integrating with the inhabitants of the Citadel in a professional capacity, so as to spread and reinforce their own benevolent agenda. The alternative is surely to avoid engaging with the community at all!

This one understands the other's concern for the charity's image, and, if it may be so bold, it greatly admires the other's commitment to principle. It must respectfully suggest, however, that the learned other is not violating those principles by utilizing the professional services of the Hungry Tides. Were the proprietor actively involved in the Compact and its apparent controversies, these ones would be advised to avoid such immersion. However, this one proposes that any assumed support from Leaving the Ducts will be viewed in terms of support for a restaurant, not a political position.

This one also thinks that this is a great opportunity to "build bridges" with the hanar community. The other may indeed use this opportunity to exchange ideas with the proprietor and perhaps alter its opinion!

When we did we had our back against the wall, since Sarah's lovely wife had just been sent to jail. And he seemed dickish sure but he had this "donate for Kerpal Syndrom" thing... Since then he's been more vocal about his opinion of children compacting, an opinion that I assure you does not reflect ours.
We basically can't let him go now (we considered it), but it'll be a one time thing, and the event certainly won't be a soundboard for him.
So yeah, we messed up here.

pm to LaykalarDon't apologise Laykalar, you did good on short notice. And as for undesirables, we have the leader of the co-op, Alystae T'Naron coming to the party in addition to Max the Gun Nut, the caterer's opinion on the compact isn't as bad in my opinion.

Any relief I feel at not being responsible, in whole or in part, for your troubles is negated by the fact that I'm sorry you're having a rough time.

Will they let you keep Aira with you--house arrest, I think they call it? If not - or if you're in higher than minimum security and it's not a good environment for her - we'd be happy to have her here at the range, but perhaps it might be wiser to let her stay at Harrad's nurturing centre. He's good people, party line or otherwise. She'll be well cared for there and still in touch with her friends at the range - our kids go over there quite often.

I would be surprised if you weren't allowed any extranet time, though they'll likely monitor it...I promise to behave if so...but while I'd be pleased to hear from you, I understand Aira is and should remain your priority if she's not staying with you.
