Private Message to VigilantVanguard Hi Sarah (and happy Christmas! Or merry Christmas, whichever. I keep getting them switched around for Terran holidays and birthdays, but then I can never remember which way I got them amusingly wrong last time, and so the cycle continues...),

Sorry to hear your date went like that. But, blinds dates can be like that. To horribly stereotype, she sounds a bit of a Maiden - nothing wrong with that (overall) but you know what they say, old enough to think you know it all, young enough not to know better. I was probably in her steps more than once in my 100s to 150s - I'd like to think I was more wearyingly ever-curious than condescending, but who knows when you're young? Still, eyes fore (what's the Earth west hem equivalent - chin up, chin high?), hopefully the irritation won't linger, and you can feel justifiably good for getting out there, right?

We're doing alright, muddling along as usual - business is up and down depending on the vagaries of the Illium market, but the other business is strong as always, so no cause for concern. We are having a party at Apricity, yes - the evening of the 33rd, local calendar, starting about 17:00 - combined Christmas and Valhara Tue, and of course if you can make it we'd love to see you. Fair warning, there will be some O-Mega in the dance mix, but the DJ's going to be giving us a variety of sounds (he rarely goes a night without dropping some classical Athen in there, so don't worry that it'll be constant synth dance). Anyway, nobody will mind if you linger in the lounge with a bowl of kaffe or tea or whatever until the O-Mega goes away again. :) The event's not a giant do though, so if you can't get free, don't feel bad - there'll be plenty of opportunities.

I might be able to make it over there in time for a quick visit. I'm not sure if I should, it's the baby's first Christmas.
I don't necessarily follow the holiday but my sister does, and she really wants to see him. I'll probably be able to squeeze in a visit before the new year's ends.

To think, a year ago I was at a dinner party at my wife's restaurant. Now I'm going to be spending it alone with my son who won't ever get to know her like I used to. I'm sorry that I've suddenly got depressive. Thank you for the well wishes, I hope you have a happy and safe rest of the month should we not meet up.

I hope this manages to reach you. I had to tell someone and you were the first person to come to mind.
As you may recall I lost a hand on the homeworld on my last expedition, as well as my omnitool which I presumed destroyed. Apparently I was wrong. A priest got a hold of it and using some old tech manuals and a who knows what else got it partially running . I'm getting video and audio feed from Rakhana's surface inside a temple. They know someone is watching, they put it up high in the back to catch a good view of everything. The delay is significant and I don't know how long it will last before the power dies but it's fascinating to watch from a cultural perspective. And a fine reminder that not only do we have souls, we may well have the best gods around. With your permission I will send you the video of the ceremonies. The coming of age and naming rituals were particularly moving. And if you don't want to see it I am still backing it up for posterity. Did you know that in modern retellings that demons have new shapes? Three guesses as to what they look like.

I'm calling upon your expertise in the matter of the dating game. I'm trying to attract the interest of an asari, a police officer who uses this board. I really haven't done this in a while and I really think she would be a good figure in your namesake's life.
I've thought about it logically. She's a police officer, she's older than me by at least five times (and thus, she's got a lot of wisdom to spare) and I think that he would like her; He likes asari, if Daia is any indication.

I'm not entirely sure how to go about starting this.

I am happy, as always, to hear that you and Albie is doing great. I knew you would be a fine mother and you are showing just that.

Now to deal with the matter at hand, your hair looks great, and I'm sure the officer will be delighted to see you put effort in it. Asari are generally attracted to interesting people over looks, and you are both a looker and interesting; your history, your redemption, drop hints, tell her things and you'll win her attention in no time.

As for Chris, se seems reasonable enough to understand that it's time to move on, should she contact you about it tell her as much. If she tries to actively sabotage your date just call C-Sec, that should make the message clear. I think it would best for you to assume she will not do that, and enjoy your time with the officer.

How are you? Yes, that Citadel thing was a bit of a surprise. The apartment is fairly nice, it's a common living room and a small but cozy bedroom for each of us. as far as I can tell by now, Kamiona is also pretty sweet and nice. We'll get along, I'm sure. I thought I could try a community thing for once, staying at a hotel was too expensive really and earning some good money is part of the idea after all;)
