I miss you Raelon. I miss the hall and my freedom. The food is awful, these bugmen have gross diets, weird customs and...well they're truly alien. We don't have anything common to talk about, and the few turians who boss around hate me. I have no one to talk to but Aira and even then under supervision, two days a month. Extranet is patchy and queues long for anything out-system.

Though I suppose I shouldn't complain about luxuries like parental visits and access to terminal in the evenings. White-collar, repentant, cooperative. That's what it says on my report. Maybe they believe they can shape me after all into one of their precious cogs and not toss me into the trash right away.

But good news (I hope), ExtranetPlayground would be very interested in an on-site demonstration of your camera technology (travel and accommodation provided), and based on those results may be prepared to offer a contract for use in filming 'Return to Hellebore' (that's a made-up title, they're keeping plot details private, and it's an adaptation of a classic so if the real title gets out, that blows the surprise). Not the whole thing obviously, since it's already underway to make the deadline for Bliss, but 'key scenes', if you follow what I mean.

They're a good outfit, but it's not done to ask someone to trust an Illium firm on recommendation alone, so here are all the relevant contracts and agreements:

I've been reading your latest post in the 'let's all move toOmega' thread and you mention you have business connections to Omega with your company? I remembered you're doing some clean room equipment, right?
I am currently looking to get a reasonably priced small cleanroom cabin for single person dressing purposes. 0.5 to 0.75 square or something like that, docking port for an adlult sized bubble, nothing bigger or fancy. I have been looking at used equipment on Omega but it is either cheap in every aspect (I just can't affort to have a quarian dying in my locker room!) or the dealers try to rip you off with alleged luxury products I do not need or it's sold by vorcha.

I have a deal as good as signed with a quarian dancer but she won't come unless I provide some infrastructure. It's actually a good deal for me since I'll be able to make her sign a longer exclusiv contract when I bring something to the table. Anyway, I am digressing.
You sound like a reasonable person to ask for an offer, normally I would not look outsoide Omega for price reasons but maybe you can surprise me.

I'd be delighted if we could help you out. So far as your requirements go, we ship environmental monitors, type-1 environmental control nodes, and the relevant VI suites to Omega - those being the parts that are worth enough to export while being small enough that we don't exceed our allocation of space on our chosen freight service. Here's our Omega catalogue if you'd care to take a look, and all the relevant specifications and coverages are linked in from there.

As you probably know, those are the bare bones of a clean-room, but you also need them installed in a suitably constructed space, and the whole deal configured for biosecurity, as well as ongoing upkeep to ensure you don't suffer any degradation of performance - those we can't do ourselves, since we don't have people on Omega to do installation/maintenance, or the ability to ship out the bigger hardware to construct the chamber. You'll find recommendations in the catalogue for Omega suppliers of both services, Draka Imports for the hardware (Draka's a very useful contact to have, he can find most anything the regular set of small importers would cross off as 'too niche to bother with') and Sahrab Systems Install & Maintain for, like the name says, installation and ongoing maintenance; a good friend of mine travels to Omega from time to time to network with the sex industry and promote safety and good business practices (you may have met her once or twice, Eafina Meressus), and she keeps us in touch with our station-side partners so we don't have to just rely on what the put on the extranet about themselves.

I talked this over with Sahrab, he could get me a simple box conversion when I bring the equipment he said. The quarian will have to maintain the thing herself, so that’s part of the deal. I don’t want to fondle with her stuff after all, just setting up a fancy locker if you get the idea.

So, business. I have interest in a Zeta type scanner/purger unit. But I am sure you’re able to offer me a deal that’s a bit more attractive than the catalog listing:)

No need to apologise, it's the same here - seems like there ought to be more than 25 hours in a day to fit everything in. Preparations to lodge a biggish tender, filming, clients... the Bliss Festival fortnight's actually going to be a relief, even with all the scheduled panels and Q&As and so forth. Any chance you'll be there, by the way? Long odds I know, but I always like to properly put a face to a forum name, so to speak. (Well, most of the time - some of the people on CDN manage to be quite a ways out beyond the limits of my gregariousness.)

Anyway, to business. I've talked this over with Ana (my bondmate, and the one who brings the actual experience of executive administration to our partnership) and run some numbers in terms of what we'd like to establish as a precedent for this kind of sales situation. What we propose is this: we'll class PP as an affiliate of the IISS for the purposes of this, since it can reasonably be called an employee health issue, and your club has good standing with those of our members who've visited or worked there - that gives us some wiggle room with regard to which sales and export classifications we can work under, so we can give you an all-up Zeta type SPU at 91% of the standard price. That's the best we can do I'm afraid - but with that, as well as the hardware, you get the inline nanobox (the details are all accessible from the price list earlier) and self-diagnostic VI, those'll make the unit as close to self-sufficient as it can possibly be, and your employee will be able to ensure it's performing up to spec herself without any concerns.
