Leeta's eyes widened as Alex hesitantly went into further detail. She suppressed her laughter poorly, making a few muffled choking sounds as he relayed his wild night that ended with a dip in the presidium ponds. "And for someone in law enforcement to be the perpetrator--" She giggled, looking at Arina. "That must have been hard to explain away..." She smiled, pausing to have a taste of her dessert through what humans regularly referred to as a "straw."
"I have heard that humans filled them with fish...some sort of...orange and white striped fish." She waved her hand vaguely as she talked. "I contemplate going to the presidium and stealing one for a pet," She admitted, hushing her voice. "But then I wouldd just be fulfilling at least two stereotypes in one go." She smiled, her impish mood reflected in her tone. |

"I must admit I was tempted to grab one of them too. I would've named him Picasso." Said Alex.
"But alas, I wasn't in the right frame of mind. Maybe next time I risk my job and social status." Said Alex half dreamily. Alex checked his watch. Whilst he was the least important member of C-Sec they had ever stupidly suggested they needed, he was supposed to be in the right place at the right time. "Look, It's been... Lovely I suppose, eating with a Asari diplomat, a quarian farmer and a criminal, but I really aught to start thinking of getting back to work. Duty might not call, but my omni-tool might, and I can't slam that onto the table and call it a gun shot." Said Alex. He got out two scraps of paper and hastily, in god awful handwriting, wrote down his omni-tool number. "Now, I know I just explained what happens when I get absolutely hammered, but I hear good things about when I'm only slightly tipsy. So if either of you want to go out for drinks some time and I'm still on the Citadel, as long as I don't have some actual work to do I'll see if I can make it." Alex Said cheerfully. Alex leaned back in his chair and signalled for a waitress. |

"He well, I have a delivery to make as well, late shift has ordered me to bring some food for them from here. It was nice meeting you all, I'll keep an eye out for you on CDN." she was slightly amused about the way alex traded his contact information. The two must mean a lot to him if he went as far and made it a personalized handwritten note. Arina preferred the fail safe version and pinged her contact to Leeta's and Alex' Omnitool directly.
"Yeah, let's do that," she replied to his offer about drinks, while finishing off her ice cream. The waitress arrived and Arina payed her bill. "It was nice meeting you two!" she said with a smile. |

Leeta leaned back in surprise as Alex and Arina both gave her their contact details. All the self-control in the world couldn't have wiped the grin off of her face. She nodded eagerly and picked up the scrap of paper. Writing on paper...he was so 'earth.' It was quaint and endearing. "Watch out Stubble, I may take you up on that," she chirped, clearly delighted. It seemed like she had made two new acquaintances that wanted to get to know her better. Not bad for her first attempt at being social in months. She squinted at Alex's poor handwriting before folding the scrap neatly and tucking it away.
"It was very nice meeting both of you. I hope this is not the last time we run into each other." She paid her bill as the waitress stopped by, briefly pinging the omni-tools of the other two with her own information. She gave them both a happy nod and left the table with a skip in her step. |
