No, but the asari did just BUTCHER SOMEONE WITH BIOTICS. Did that pass your attention? Fucking staff member or not, she just up and did ... that. I just want to find out what the bloody mercy she's playing at. I'm quiet because I'm scared and confused! D:
More so now that my asari co-worker just murdered someone with biotics! That's a terrible thing to do, whether the person was a robber or not, and that makes me worried, so... VOTE JERAL I want to find who the strangler is as much as anyone else, but now that Jeral's flipped out... It's more important we get rid of the obviously crazy, right? Apparently people are upset that a bank employee killed a robber with her natural-born biotics... even her co-workers are against her!

Jeral the Improbable Here I am. Just being awesome. |
Okay, dropping the RP stuff so that we can focus a bit on the game.
First off, why I flipped out. To begin with, everyone is being waaaaaaaaaaaay to complacent in this game. We are just letting time pass and, whether there are hidden factions or not, the town will suffer from inaction. Yes, lynching reduces the amount of time before the robbers win, but sitting around and waiting it out, as you might have noticed, is letting the strangler have their way and reduce the amount of time anyways. Consider this a call to action. Also, I don't know about you guys, but I never recieved a win condition. We have no garuntee whether finding the hidden faction is the goal, or surviving the heist, or whatever is the end goal. So, I acted towards the one obvious threat we have, the robbers. There was a chance to off one, so I took it. Who knows if we will ever get that chance again. Was this the right call? Honestly, I have no clue. I wouldn't be surprised if the robbers were nothing more than a distraction, but the unusual set up here has me out of sorts. Thus, I dealt with the one threat I know exists. So we come down to this, what to do. Honestly, I have a few ideas right now. One is to pressure the robbers. It's an unusual game that I have no clue what our goal is. It's possible that the robbers are actually on our side, that they are nothing more then a distraction. If that's the case, we need to figure that out right now, and the best way to get information from them at this point is via pressure. Besides which, if we do end up lynching one, they now only get one free shot. A loss that we can now absorb. Cont in next post. |

Another idea would be to go after inactive players. I know, I know, dippy is hating on me right now for that suggestion. But, eh... Quiet is dangerous. I don't like that there are a few people on that list I have seen only post once or twice the entire game.
Lastly... Well... Honestly I am a bit thrown off by the format of the game. I don't expect my reads to be helpful at all this time round because I am kind of flailing around in the dark. Regardless, lynching me makes absolutely no sense. Lynching me for... What now? Taking out a member of the robbers? Costing us no loss in time? I would really like to know what the slight is here, because you are all lynching for what appears to be no real reason. Anyways, Vote RTB. I stand by the assement that either we need to figure out the true goal of the game if it isn't killing the robbers, or we need to off them if this is our goal. This furthers both agendas. |

Ok I've been thinking about all this. First I really don't feel like you're wining. The situation is so confused that I don't feel like we're learning anything about anyone, hence the lack of lynching. And frankly I think we're losing.
Now I don't like the idea of lynching Jeral. His biotic display does not strike me as something a hidden murderer would do, and if we figure out who the real bad guys are, he can be a huge help. I'd just ask that he refrain to kill the robbers before it becomes a bloodbath. And I'd ask them to humor him from now, since their guns may not be as efficient as we hope if real bad guys are among us. That said I'm getting concerned about Fetchquest. She doesn't post, makes herself tiny, and when she does she bandwagons and targets the biggest advantage sentients may have here. So for the first time I feel like I'm actually doing something proactive in this game by unvoting Figulus and voting FetchQuest. Goddess have pity of us. Slaves4Us is here to help you! Oh no! This one is being strangled! The cruel irony! How does one strangle a hanar anyway? This one though it would be impossible...
Enkindlers...take this one...to the light... Time...to...die The hanar stops blinking slowly, slick salty-smelling liquid starting to seep out of the gashes the strangler left upon the poor thing. I'm torn.
I'm kinda with those saying lynching Jeral is probably a mistake. The overly flashy 'I'M KILLING SOMEONE!' routine makes me think he probably isn't our 'scum' (or whatever counts as scum in this game. Then there's another part of me thinking it's tooobvious. That part wonders if perhaps he isn't the stealth killer but perhaps an ally of it. Diverting attention away from the shadows by giving us something shiny to focus on. Possibly even has a defense against lynching? Perhaps a risky, but interesting maneuver; Lynch someone more shady, or presents a possible risk. As M-Pax has said, the Dekuuna-Clan's steady march to the exit may be a threat. As of yet we've lynched no one but the kills keep racking up. It may do nothing, attempting to lynch him, but so far that's all we've done anyway. An alternative is V. He bothered me from the beginning, and he's made a few mistakes quoting his previous opinions. Nothing Really bad, but better than nothing. While we focus our votes on one of them, those of us with guns could deal with Jeral? Takes a hit to the timer, but again. It is better than nothing. AEGIS: Protection, Liberation, Vindication. What HappeningThe vorcha takes his gun and shoots at the turian (played by Talonz who's also a turian RNG can cause that.) Except that Talonz grabs the gun out of Icarus' hand and shoots the vorcha in the face. Unfortunately for everyone The vorcha is back on his feet in no time tackling Talonz to get his gun back. Which he does and so the two are at a standstill. Icarus SHOOTS Talonz Talonz COUNTERS Icarus and SHOOTS Icarus Icarus uses EXTRA SURVIVABILITY to shrug off one bullet shot and take his weapon back. Yeah sorry babe. This post looks dirty as fuck to me. Especially the bit about trying to get rid of people who might kill you. Good excuse for bandwagoning.
