The big blue plain (THESSIA, NARTIN, TEMPLARS)

As the stun grenades rained down on her, Trixina realized the the best thing she could do now was to bug out.

She opens up a channel to her second fireteam

"Jeleri gather the girls up, we're haulin' ass. We'll hold em as good as we can, Rendevouz at our location."

She was just about to pick up her grenade launcher when Vohk made his move. It was clumsy and awkward but it DID piss her off to no end.

"ya know what ya lil' dipshit? I was gonna leave you here to cover our escape but seein' as you're incapable of seein' a pattern here, you just gave me the inspiration to take it a lil' further!"

She pointed the camera at Vohk.

"I dunno where ya came from but you married a damn stupid husband. Ya can keep him if you get here in time, cuz he sure ain't comin' with us."

The two shots came quick, both in the kneecaps. Then she cut the feed.

She primes the grenade launcher spotting for enemies coming from the crash. They weren't going to target them with explosives, not with the idiot here with them.

Back at Galliks location, the hill where the sniper was hiding suddenly comes to life. Two asari rushes from underneath it, uncovering a large hovercraft transport. They carry their massive sister onboard, taking of at a neckbreaking speed towards the truck.

For the second time that day, the pain was just too much. The large man didn't even scream so much as jerk, violently seizing, before becoming limp. Blood pooled into the snow amongst the snow and scattered bone fragments.

The distraction finally came. Allied forces had arrived, but now the asari were probably preparing to bug out. There was no time to waste. Everett had to close the distance if he had any chance of intercepting the asari pirates before they could escape. He couldn't make it on foot... but there was still the truck.

"Friendly forces have arrived! I'm on the move!" The human rose up and raced towards his vehicle, stepping on the gas as soon as he mounted it. The truck swerved away from the ravine and towards Vohk's disabled vehicle. Along the way, he spotted the hostile hovercraft speeding towards his destination. Everett didn't have the equipment to deal with that armor. He just hoped the reinforcements could take care of it.

"QRF Sigma-Theta, Patrol One-One, we have a hostile APC approaching Patrol One-Actual's vehicle! Keep it off our backs," Everett stated. Hopefully, Sigma-Theta would do their jobs and allow him to focus on the priority targets. As he approached the asari, he noticed that one of them was carrying a particularly bulky weapon. His eyes widened; a grenade launcher. That meant certain death unless he abandoned the vehicle at that moment. He activated his omni-tool to give the truck a waypoint that led straight past the asari before swinging the door open and hopping out. He crashed into the snow, rolling a few times before stopping. Hopefully, Trixina's attention would stay fixed on the truck. Everett let out a light groan as he slowly rose to his knees. Those asari would surely riddle him with bullets and shrapnel, unless he did something to stop them right in their tracks. Activating his cryo-blast app, the N7 raised his omni-tool and fired.

Gallik didn't have much time to do anything, but he had to try. His vision was still fuzzy but the loss of his captive just wouldn't sit right with him. Might as well try another gamble. He got up into a shaky crouch,raising his weapon and activating one of his favored attachments on the side of it. He fired a tiny tracker device at the craft as they loaded their sister onboard. If the asari herself couldn't tell him what he wanted, maybe their vehicle would.

Gestran didn't hesitate for a second, once he heard the two second shots from the truck. There was no choice, time to do the whole grunt thing again.

Neil! you're with me. titus, lupin, you're second pair. Fire and advance on my mark! MARK! COVERING FIRE!

He empties his clip in in the general direction of the truck.

"They just shot Knox dead." Neil said to himself. He followed Gestran's lead and aimed his Assault rifle at the hostile Asari while yelling at the top of his lungs "MOTHERFUCKING PSYCHO-BITCHES!" and squeezed the trigger. He sprinted down towards the enemy while providing covering fire for Gestran.

Helena didn't so much as see the pistol fire as feel it. Trixina's cruelty was powerful, but a double edged weapon, as she was about to potentially learn.

In her ignorance, she did not know the recipient of her message was above her, gripping grenade launcher. She also thought that she would be spared from that weapon, because they would not risk firing explosives near a hostage. Except Helena wasn't firing explosives.

For the first time, she aimed the weapon at a specific target, the asari fleeing a terrifyingly prone form in the snow. In rapid succession, she fired three stun grenades at Trixina, seeing red all the while.

The grenades thunder down on trixina and vohk, who is in cover by the truck. However the KB sensors of the truck picks up on the projectiles, sending a blast of kinetic energy, hurling them in a different directions before they detonate at a safe distance.

Swearing at the sheer madness of the situation she call up her two teammates ahead of her.

"Pliri, fall back to our position, throw up some cover while yer at it."


The two asari ahead of them do not reply however as the stun grenades had dizzied them.

"aw GODDAMN IT!"

Trixina lases the kodiak shuttle preparing concussion grenades. a single projectile launching before she has to take cover.

The grenades detonates at one of the kodiaks engines, making it sputter and lose power.

Well, the cryo blast didn't work, but the stun grenade left Trixina's goons out in the open. That was perfect for him. The human began to advance towards the truck, firing a chain overload at the two goons before raising his weapon to fire at them. However, Neil managed to reach them before he could finish them off. Once they were incapacitated, he tried to go for Trixina. Unfortunately, the pirate was long gone before he could get a shot off.

"Fuck," Everett cursed, "The target's gone!" Even though she made her getaway, the N7 was determined to find the asari. She'd gone too far, and whatever her reasons for attacking the convoy were didn't matter. One way or another, Trixina was going to die.

Neil was in close range with the two stunned Asari hostiles. He quickly shot out the nearest Asari's legs, and when she fell to her knees he struck her temple with the blunt of his assault rifle knocking her unconscious. He spun around to face the other Asari and gave her a powerful boot to the snow covered ground, and knocked her unconscious with a stomp to the head.

"Two hostiles down. Go after their leader!"

The hovercraft arrived at the truck.

She screamed out in rage as she saw her two teammates go down. Realizing that she now had no choice but to fall back or geet killed or captured she jumped on. The vehicle accellerated at blinding speed toward the distance. She swore that it wasn't going to be the last they saw of her.

"We're hit!"

Frosty exclaimed redundantly, Helena scrambling to find a grip, as the pilot swerved the shuttle to relative safety.

"KEEP UP THE RUSE!'

She ordered over the screaming of the engines.

"Mayday, Mayday, Sigma Theta is going down. Attempting Safe landing. Sigma Theta-2, be warned, hostiles have anti air weapons"

He said, hopefully convincingly. If the raiders realized that they'd been tricked, this battle might turn for the worst.

With a loud scream of metal on snowy earth, the shuttle landed beside the original crash site.

Gestran signalled to Neil to stop.

"We gotta secure these bitches first Neil, they'll bleed out if we don't treat them."

He got up his omnitool, readying the medigel for the wounded asari.

"Titus! Lupine! get your asses over to the truck!"

"I'm on my way." Titus jumped down, off the wreck, and started jogging towards the truck. Listening to all the radio chatter had confused, and he currently had no idea what was going, apart from Vohk probably bring dead.
