Reapers XX: The Heist

Current Game Status: Game Over

Everything was going along just fine in the branch office of the First Bank of Irune when things went tits up. Four masked individuals, a vorcha, a drell, a human and a salarian entered the bank, shot the guards. They are keeping the customers and staff under gun-point as their safe cracker began to drill into safe to get the eezo.

The alarm was triggered however and now the robbers, and the civilians are all stuck in same building.

What's happening now! (Read This, There Is Important Gameplay Information)

1. At this moment the C-Sec is negotiating with the robber's fixer, in 12 hours from now the robbers will be able to leave the bank unarmed and rich beyond their wildest dreams!
2. Each robber can shoot one person an hour meaning the four of them can shoot four other players each hour. If they do this they 3 hours will be added to the time to leave. If they shoot everyone THEY WILL LOSE.
3. Any person who dies that wasn't killed by the robbers, of example by lynching results in reducing the robbers need to wait before they can leave by 3 hours, because C-Sec doesn't want anyone to be hurt. More importantly if you lynch a robber they all get free shots (except for the lynched).
4. The robbers can give simple orders to non-robbers, meaning ins short if they say you should write in haiku form you are expected to write in haiku. They can't order you to shut-up. If two of them give contradicting orders then the last (newest) order is the one that must be followed.
5. The elcor player must stay in character as described in your PM during play.
6. Don't try to kill the elcor, he's immortal. An attack might at most slow him down a bit.
7. The elcor player is free to ignore orders from the robbers if the whim strikes him, the elcor plays by his own rules, he's a maverick!
8. Remember your objectives, remember the private chats some of you have access too, remember that I am a sneaky guy and there's probably some sneaky stuff happening in the background... or maybe not.
9. Stealth actions must be sent via PM to me, non-stealth actions can be sent to me via PM or put on the board.
10. Lynch votes are only reset after a lynch, otherwise they will go on from hour to hour.

4. The game time is counted in hours; each hour takes 24 hours real time, a schedule below will be posted for your convenience.

6. There is a simple majority lynch; meaning 50% 1 vote will result in a lynch. Lynching does not advanced the day or hour. There is a delay of two hours between lynching's.

A thought, Talonz countered. Talonz has no weapon. Talonz is not a Vorcha. Talonz is not a Krogan. Talonz has posted once. No post count Dangerous. Typical scum combination.

From an out of game perspective, I'm pretty sure races and allegiances are both chosen randomly, without connection to each other.

From an in game perspective, reaper augmentations could cause a volus to have the necessary strength to strangle, and provide a perfect cover.

Again, this is not me being sure at all, but I just don't see a better person to point a finger at.

Talonz and Fetch are both pretty suspicious. We should probably lynch both.

What did Talonz do that was suspicious, except not posting much?

That's the point. Pretty much everyone else in here has at least tried to talk it out (excepting the vorcha robber, who just likes not shooting people, but never bloody mind that) except them two. We're just trying to get everyone to talk for a minute here.

Ok then let's ask everyone to vote either Fetch (the priority I think) or Talonz.

There's still only one sheriff in town, and that's me. This is my bank, and my people, so why don't you just calm down and stop trying to shoot anyone. C-Sec won't let you leave if you go nuts. Leave the damn hostages alone, and maybe concentrate on who the fuck is stalking and strangling us? Like we didn't have enough problems in our claws already.

Talonz I think an explanation on why you're not a strangler and who you think is most probable is expected now.

Well I'm pretty sure we can go with that. The elcor probably wouldn't have worked and Talonz' little display is rather suspicious. Pressuring probably isn't a bad idea in that case. Again, better than doing nothing.

While that happens and everyone is distracted there's a thud, Jeral lies on the floor, the asari has been strangled.

Loftan is still looking for an exit when he's not distracted by the water cooler.

Okay, okay. I'm the security chief of the bank, and therefore can hold my own in a fight. I don't have any abilities I could actively use, but I will counter every strike directed at me. Trying to get the robbers shoot me again would've been nice, but at least I'll stay alive for now.

Who killed Mr_Sandman btw? His death flavor is "neck snapped", not "strangeled". I'm a bit amazed if no one noticed this before, but I don't have the time to skim through the entire thread now. So we have two secret killers?

I'd like an explanation for why the last time the elcor here ranted about being the law and started rambling off names one of the aforementioned names ended up dead.

Icarus and Figulus are a vorcha and a krogan respectively, I think we know why those two aren't dead. Perhaps the others had invisible kill counters. Obviously limited in use in the case of DeathtoDreadnoughts. It's a long shot but right now our elcor friend is looking suspicious to me.

DeathToDreadnoughts had no kill counter. I just don't see an elcor snapping people's necks. Stomping on them, maybe.

I'm still convinced that Talonz is hiding something.
