"Oh, you do? Me too, but I'd have thought you huntresses are all about workout and stuff... competitive swimming?" she giggled. "Nah, I know better!" Having a bit of fun and enjoying herself in the water or on some beach was an enticing thought indeed.

"Since you seem to have more knowledge about that planet... What would be a good spot to go? I mean... someplace not utterly destroyed... I'd rather see something of the nature, doesn't have to be a city. There must be places, as Earth has long coastlines. I was thinking about going to see some travel agents but first hand knowledge is better."

Kiara nodded. "Well, like I said, I've only been to Australia. Mostly the areas around Sydney. I hear that area did comparatively well, but that's always going to be a relative term, isn't it?

Anyway, there was great surfing there, or just swimming off the beach."

"Isn't that Australia a large island? Sounds good." She tried to recollect her knowledge on human social behaviour. They were so diverse - largely because they still were such a young space fairing culture, Arina thought - it sometimes got complicated.

"I think I remember this being a fairly open minded region. I had to deal with reports of xenophobia against asari after the war, but not from there. So do you suggest that? Great." Arina was opening her omnitool. A search for "earth australia beach sea diving" produced a few spectacular pictures and links to hotels. This was really interesting. "Aw, niiice!"

Arina took a moment to think.
"Hey, if you maybe want to come along...? I am just thinking about four or five days off."

"Or a small continent, depending on who you ask."

Kiara blinked at the offer, thinking for a bit. "Hmmm... well, I should be able to take some time off, the business can take me having a holiday... so sure. It'll be nice to relax."

Arina was happy and a bit surprised, since they only knew each other for such a brief time. She folded the Omnitool

"Okay, great!" she rolled onto her side, so she could face Kiara. "Listen, I'd like to look up a few places from work. I can get discounts on travel and stuff. I could send you a few possibilities where I can have benefits and we could chose then, how does that sound?"
Diplomacy status definitely had its benefits. This trip would also essentially be an intercultural exchange, for all Arina cared.
