about as well as you, unfortunately. it is nearly as it was for poland in 1945 - we have fought for the liberation of our homelands only to be granted their dissolution. poland, which retained at least a semblance of national identity while in the EU, is now relegated to the greater east-european milieu under the authority of some regional administration. we are not even granted the dubious dignity of a national puppet government. and their assurances that governments will be reestablished in five years are of little comfort when we do not even see any signs of a plan for reconstitution of national government beyond these announced intentions. normally i would support any effort to serve the people and the greater good and quicken the reconstruction efforts, but this dissolution of national identity again - this only serves to spawn contempt. perhaps further discussion of this would merit its own thread or other correspondence.
