Albert chuckled, "I am saying you are young. You make a bad wingman."

"Please accept our apologies, that was bad form. But rest assure that nobody is thinking of you as being too old to be here, I mean if you consider yourself 'old' then what am I to be? A venerable ancient?" He chuckled, "all I'm saying is that our friend here might want to try his luck with someone closer to his own age. I mean he is not even 15."

Isadore laughed again, the sound of grinding boulders and dieing rocks, "A Venerable ancient, huh..."

Mex Sili was so glad that Sugar was in the area to distract attention away from herself. Because it had taken a lot of will power to just not flat-out recoil in disgust when the teenage turian started talking to her in that flirty voice.

Just ew. Why was he here anyway? Spirits

And then there was the terrifying krogan (oh spirits what if he was one of the dunderheads she had trolled on CDN? Fuuuuuck)in the area wasn't helping with her anxiety at all, judging from her increasingly twitchy mandibles. When her mandiblizer arrived she faced the human and hissed, "I don't drink alcohol you idiot. Are you trying to make me miserable? Spirits! Don't hug me you idiot!"

"Oh uh, sorry about that", she stammered to the rest of the group. "My friend--not lady friend-- here has an annoying habit of speaking for others" her mandibles twitched again as she pushed the drink to the side. "So uh, sorry. For that outburst..."

she went back to fidgeting and staring down at the table.

Isadore's eye flicked over to the obviously agitated Turian and looked her over. She wasnt bad looking, by turian standards, to humans he supposed she looked like the scaley, spikey, monsters of nightmares. He saw her increasingly twitchy mandibles and caught her eyes a moment, just a moment before she looked away. 'Was that... fear?' He asked himself, a frown spreading across his face while he thought. He began to absently rub at a portion of his abdominal armor.

Isadore
"No quarians here. Beat it."

"You are holding an event where I have been invited. Refusal would not reflect on you well."

"Well it it ain't the Migrant Fleet reunion! Get lost before I need to use this." the grump doorman waved his gun in front of Flash, who was again disguised in quarian robes, covering its head and any other features that would give away his synthetic origin, quarian vox included.

"Check with your supervisor. They will know me."

"You know what? Maybe I will." the turian bouncer grumbled. "Tarkus here, on the lower entrance. Got some weirdo quarian guy demanding entry, says he knows you. Please tell me I can shoot him."

And at this point, Flash of Light's sophisticated interception suites sprung into action. Tarkus had given away the frequency, it did not take long to crack such cheap encryption with the geth's runtimes. Bouncers didn't need top-notch cyber security. The reply was coming in, but it never reached Tarkus' ears properly. Flash of Light had intercepted the message and jammed the frequency with a burst of static. Soon an appropriate reply would be composed from the voice samples the incoming message had contained.

"Come again? You're breaking up."

"Let him in."

The bouncer turned to face Flash with a look of disbelief on his face. "...alright, you can go in. No funny business then!"

"Thank you."

Inside the club, the disguised geth did not take long to locate the corner Albert had reserved for them. It took the vacant seat right next to Mex.

"Greetings Albert Lowell, Sugar, Isadore and others who I do not recognize."

Flash of Light
Sugar put a hand to her heart.
"But Mr Lowell. You are far from being ancient." She didn't know much about Albert's history, just the little bits and hints she picked up on CDN. It had not been much of a topic for a while now, she had noticed he was among the more open minded posters.

She of course noted Sili's reaction and rolled her eyes. "Aw come on, just one! Order a tualdex juice to go with it and you are set for the whole evening!" She huggesd Sili again. Just because.

Then a quarian approached the table. He drew a few glares from the people on the dancefloor and from other tables. Quarians where no overly common sight on Omega anymore these days - Sugar knew, dealing with that dancer Tuni'Za. The next weeks would be exciting when she eventually premiered at the Periwinkle.

Anyway, there were an aweful lot of quarian posters on CDN so it wasn't surprsing of one came here. She had no idea who he was though from his looks.
"Hello! Well, you have an adavantage with our names there it seems."

As the quarian sat, Isadore noticed tht something about him was off, he leaned a bit closer and sniffed the air. The club reaked of alchohol and many, many more unpleasant things, but the mixture of scents coming from the suited creature were wrong. His biotics rippled, "Evening." He said gruffly, not taking his eyes away from the being.

Isadore
"Who says I'm not 15?" He was not 15.

He waved to the Quarian. "I'm Xees, this is Sili..." He narrowed his eyes a little, leaning to the side to try and catch a glimpse of the quarian's face, but he got distracted when his Paragade arrived. Those tubes looked off, but the quarian was obviously not suffocating. "Welcome to Afterlife."

Avulsion
"You did inform in the thread that you are coming, did you not? I do not see any other human female, or krogan for Isadore's part presently at the table." it was quick to reply. "Pleased to make your acquaintance, Xees, Sili."

"You may call me Yulti'Sano vas Nedas."

For a quarian, "Yulti'Sano" was wearing unusually heavier set of garments. The hood extended way longer and concealed the face, the sleeves of the tunic covered the arms entirely, only exposing heavily armoured gloves, and the leggings were quite generous as well. On top of this all, the usual belts going across the waist and chest. The fabric lacked patterns, it was just plain dark gray in colour, with some unsavoury looking old splatter on the chest and legs. Just where had this individual come from?

Flash of Light
Isadore gave the strange creature, for he had determined that it was definately not what it claimed to be, another look and let his barriers envelope him in a protective cloak of silky purple-black. He took a final drag off his cigarette and, looking around, tossed the still burning bit onto the dancefloor with a chuckle.

Isadore
"Well met Yulti'Sano, I'm glad to meet you," if Albert found something strange about the quarian he wasn't letting on.

"Sili, you do raise a good point, best not to over indulge on drinks, least of all not on Omega anyway." Albert turned to look at Xees once more, "and I know you're not 15 because both of your fringe and voice." Albert said with a grin, "I've been around turians long enough to get a good feel about this things. I bet there's at least one maybe two major grow spurts in you yet."

When he saw Isadore throw the still burning but of the cigarette on the floor he frowned.

"I am surprised at the lack of mercenaries, with the exception of Isadore of course, it used be that you would probably only get mercenaries with a CDN meet up on Omega."

Diplomatic Immunity
Ex-mercenary. I have a real job now, just like the rest of you pyjaks. Isadore said with chuckle, taking a healthy swig of his drink and shivering full-body again.

Isadore
Albert glared again, "You are being quiet unpleasant Isadore, I would appreciate it if you got some manners or I will have you escorted out. This is not the extranet, and your disruptive behavior will have consequences." The diplomat's voice was calm, a bit too calm for the situation, it sounded like he wasn't afraid or impressed by the krogan.

Diplomatic Immunity
Isadore gave him a long, hard stare, searching who the man was. He sighed deeply, then smiled at the human, wide and toothy.
You have a quad human, Il give you that. He pulled out and lit another cig, being sure to blow it over the group's heads, Fine, Il play nice, but.... He trailed off, sniffing the air again. He waved the waiter down and gave his mostly full drink to the man, whispering something obviously menacing to the turian and sending him scurrying away.

I apollogize, I have been impolite. If you will excuse me, He stood and grabbed his helmet, Have a round on me, anything you like, but I would check your drinks first, I appear to have annoyed someone. The world swam before him and he tottered a moment, then hurried off for a hallway that led to the restrooms.

The newest entrant to the club looked around the level of Afterlife he was on, spotting an unlikely conglomeration of disparate people, and assumed that was his goal.

He was a large batarian, at least 6'6'', a core of coiled muscle and weather-worn skin. The Gar'sha went without his armor for this gathering, instead a simple, patterned vest and rugged tactical pants covered him, though at the moment most was obscured by the heavy dust-cloak he wore over it all.

He approached the table, top set of eyes watching the krogan run off, the bottom regarding the group carefully, just in case, and offered a small smile and a nod.

"Is this the CDN gathering?

Harkoul
Albert nodded towards to departing krogan, before turning to Gar'sha.

"You would be correct," Albert said, titling his head just slightly to the left. "Please have a seat and join the party, I'm Dippy."

Diplomatic Immunity
Baram smiled again, and took a seat, though he noticed the tilt to the left and chuckled as he did so. He smiled, placing his hands on the table, one hand waving off the formality. As his arms emerged from the cloak, one thing was instantly obvious; They were entirely synthetic, though stylized to simulate at least the general look of a biological one.

"Dippy on the boards?" He paused to think a moment, "Mr. Lowell, then? Or do you prefer Dippy?"

He shrugged his cloak the rest of the way off, settling it on the back of the booth, both metallic arms going clear up to the shoulder sockets now revealed. As well as the silver badge on his chest, a nova in the background and a fist in the fore.

"Baram Har-rok. Or Harkoul, on the boards, though I don't post much as of right now. Nice to meet everyone." He smiled, going back to his previous thought. "No need for the tilting, by the way. For whatever reason it's a custom we don't practice in Valkar, save for occasionally when we would get Hegemony refugees."
Link Link Quote

Harkoul
He self-consciously touched his fringe, shooting Dippy a look as he sat down with the drink. "Fine."

What was going on with the Krogan? He looked ready to jump under the table at a moment's notice, only really relaxing after he left. He nodded at the Batarian's arms. "Nice work. Did you get them done here?"
Link Link Quote

Avulsion
Baram shook his head in response to the young turian's question, bringing an arm up to show more detail.

"No, my augments were performed back in Valkar, actually. No offense but I'm not sure I'd want to have anyone outside of Valkar. Nations in Council Space have too many reservations about technology to have kept up, and Omega seems... Less than sanitary so far. It's pleasant enough as a destination, so long as you know how to handle yourself. But for medical operations, 'sterile' doesn't come to mind."

Link Link Quote

Harkoul
“Hello there, Yulti'Sano! I have to admit, I am not familiar with that name… do you use a different handle on CDN?” Was this guy a quick thinker or what? He seemed a bit distanced in the way he spke but some quarians, especially exiles or the kind of merc-quarians that were still hanging out on Omega were. All the sane ones went back to Rannoch.

Sane quarians… she had to think about that pariah chick for a second. She had announced coming to Omega. Yeah and all the nutjob quarians were coming here, great.

Sugar was trying to calm Xees.
“Oh, wow… well, he’ll live, he’s a krogan. He should stick to drinks at my place!” was her comment when Isadore had to urgently leave for a bit.

She touched Albert’s arm. “He’s really a nice guy. He has some krogan routines down but he’s a good guy, don’t worry.” She really liked him, partly because he was a good customer and great tipper and partly just for no particular reason.

Then Harkoul arrived. “Oh, look at that.” Sugar whispered, as her eyes travelled up and down the huge body.

She smiled and greeted, “Hi, I am Sugar, this is Sili, a friend of mine.”
She raised an eyebrow at his augmentations though.
