Honestly, more times that I care for, but its part of being a DI. It's mostly it is kids who think that just 'cause they didn't get hooked on Dexhal or Hachix after a hit that they can graduate to Nova Coke or poppies or they get hooked on Combat drugs because they don't respect cooldown time. Either way once you notice it you sit them down, they generally protest a bit but they're often smart enough to understand that's something's up so they listen, and then you discuss treatment plans. Take drug use as an example, we allow our soldiers (and non-soldiers) to use recreational drugs that are mostly either illegal or heavily regulated in the rest of C-Space. We trust on the individual to manage this responsibly, so their use doesn't prevent them or others to do their duty. If they fail in doing so, we hold an intervention to get the person back on task. Others including humans seem to take the stance that since some might fail to keep themselves in check it is better to regulate or forbid drug use.
Yeah, about this one-have you ever been to an intervention that actually worked in this ideal-turian way? - Staff Sergeant Tergus Sintrian -- Drill Instructor for the 91st Palavian Legion |

No "I'm okay taking x amount" no "but she takes more" no "I just took a week off so I'm not an addict" no "How much CAN I have then?" If the rule is you don't take it, the rule is that you don't take it. |
