Right now I'm happy on my mountain, but that's good to know. stardust wrote:Probably the most interesting newspiece as of late was the rachni coming out of hiding and saying hello to the wider galaxy in their very unique way.
Eh, I never fought the Rachni; too young by a millennia sadly. I know a few krogan who can still remember them though; maybe that's why the locals seemed to tetchy a while back. They have announced an alliance with the geth

AEGIS is still holdin' on, though not like it used to. We do our best, anyway. Glad to hear you're alright, boss. No one quite knew where you went to.
Uh, yeah... sorry about that. Glad to hear AEGIS is still about, although to be honest I think I'm about done with the mercenary life. Lost too many people during the Reaper War, and before it. Much prefer my books nowadays. The greatest victory is not the defeat of an enemy, or the eradication of a threat, but the simple acceptance that everything changes, and there is nothing you can do to stop that. |

You'd be surprised how many people want to be friends with the flashlights and bugs.Damnit. Now that's just trouble. Never trust a synth, that's what I say. So, decided to hang up the guns and armor for good, can't say I blame you, job we lead doesn't really leave much hope of a fulfilling retirement. Anyway, if you're ever around Omega, come by and pay us a visit, think you still left some of that 1578 ryncol you liked so much on the Requiem, catch up on old times. SHUT! THE! FUCK! UP! STOP ANTAGONIZING ONE ANOTHER! Really. Really. Are you really trying to tone police away all argument? Fuck off. Capice wrote:

I'm not trying to antagonize people, Steel, I'm trying to keep the thread from devolving into ANOTHER argument. 'Follow your own advice' doesn't really apply here. I'm sure you thought it did, so that's alright. It's a slaver-associated merc starting the thread. It's going to be a little rough? I think you're madder than I was, so that's a little...off. I know, right? Former AEGIS dude starts a thread and you're expecting shit not to devolve? Things are going to get heated if you're talking about former slaver affiliates with C-Space types on board. (Though I'm surprised that that's not where the argument started, actually.) |

Oh sure they're still rocking the patchwork uniform look the last time I checked but now it's decidedly less of an affectation. Plus you know there's that whole thing with loosing......how much territory on Omega do you lot even have left?
