Or cash. Kids love cash. This is a proper suggestion. Thank you. She's probably spend the cash on lollies (she's getting plenty of those in her stocking and my wifei s going to kill me) and I've already gotten her a few toys. I might just get her more toys. A kid can never have enough toys, right? First Sergeant Natalie King, 2/4th Marines |

What about a trip? Theme park or the citadel or some relatively pretty place?
That's what I did for the folks. Bought them a couple of tickets to Illium for the holidays. They're gonna do the tourist shit, we spend Christmas together, then they'll head back to Eden Prime. |

To be fair Gunny, Varren can be pretty friendly, I mean our squad Leader's Varren is real friendly. Won't bite the bajeezus out of any limb, affectionate, loves a good belly rub... The thing about him though, is that he's a SMART varren. Smart Varren are better pets. PFC Henry Nishimuro 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, D Company, 9th Marine Regiment "The Battered Bastards of Bytown" |

That's an idea. I'm getting a week or two off over Christmas. Might take them to Calabsa-my neice has never been there and it'd be good for my wife to go home for a bit and see her family. They are violent, tough, and horrifyingly lethal. It is not a pet you want around children. |

Yeah, she's totally big enough for an assault rifle, as long as it's not one of those bulky armoured ones. TREX KHUTONAX, SNIPER XTRAORDINAIRE ~* HATERS GONNA HATE, SNIPERS GONNA SNIPE *~ |

Also does anyone know what kids like these days? My niece wrote a list but she won't let me have a look at it because 'it's for Santa'.
You could buy her a pottery artisan kit. Or some painting supplies. A lot of retailers are trying to encourage more kids to take up the arts,as a lot of famous artists died during the war. Again, this idea, which has been conveniently ignored but not the suggestion about firearms. One must find a balance between enjoying themselves and leaving the Galaxy in a better place then they found it. |

Sorry Nat. Trex is a weapons over-enthusiast on account of poor parenting in her formative years.
Does your niece like crafts? Have a hobby? Indicate interest in something? Supporting her interest might make an excellent gift. Unless it's heavy weaponry. Trex, have you ever considered crochet? Again, this idea, which has been conveniently ignored but not the suggestion about firearms. Well, I ended up getting soemthing similar to this. It might be a good way for her to get her emotions out 'positively' or something. That's what the shrink suggests anyway. Worth a try. (And thanks, I was just busy being horrified at the suggestion of varren and firearms :|) Cheftain Detticia said:Sorry Nat. And she does like colouring in and drawing. So I went with getting her a ball (you know how hard it was to find an AFL ball on Eden Prime?) and some artist pencils.
