The Unoffical Absence Thread 2.0

I have a shitty headache and aphasia (I think I'm talking English, but what comes out is either mixed up words, baby talk, or alien sounds.) The good news: My husband's a neurologist and the aphasia is linked to the headache - when it goes away I should be back to talking normally. The bad news: I'm probably going to be posting less, maybe just a post or two a day, until I'm sorted out again.

Monday. The assessment/management book/doorstopper is twice as thick as my old general bio text and probably weighs 20 pounds.

Does the audio help at all? I see there's a DVD/CD on the back of the monster.

Similarly to Veritas, but without photogrammic evidence, I'm drownin' in books and other rectangular prisms as I attempt to write a rather long paper about the economy. For anyone who doesn't know, I freaking hate economics, yet for some reason I thought it would be a great idea to write paper about bank bailouts. The amount of caffeine I've consumed up to this point has been enough to kill Rasputin, which means I am becoming stronger. Soon, with my paper finished, I will reach my ultimate form and return in glory.

According to my fiance, I have "beautifully fried the f****** motherboard" on my laptop, which is my only window to the outside world.

So, uh, Imma be a bit sparse(r) for awhile - hopefully, just this weekend, but we'll see. Until then, play nice :)

Well, there goes my graphics card. Until I manage to find a replacement, my gaming PC's going to be out of commission - which in turn is probably going to strain my forum presence.

I've been quite the ass lately with my absences, but I now officially say that the semester is done... And that the leave of the boards was worth it. All courses passed, and most of them passed rather well. :D

So suffice it to say, I'm pleased to be done the semester, and pleased to finally come on back and start writing again. On a regular 9-5ish work schedule once again, but will be around to participate in the evenings and such.

Glad to be back. :)

Welp, my move went alright. Just finishing up settling in, so sorry for not getting back into the mix right away like I said I would. You'll see more of me very soon!

So I just got the best news I've had in months, and as a result I'll be moving during the next 3-4 weeks...which means that my access here's gonna be pretty spotty over the next month.

Still planning on getting at least one major project going, though. Here's to crazy shit going down.

It's finals for me, and after that I'm going to be at my grandmother's for a few days and I don't know if she has internet access, so I'll probably be touch and go for the next two weeks!

Due to graduation and moving apartments, I'll be out for the next few days.

I've got exit exams, final projects, and job training for the next few weeks, so my posting schedule will be even shoddier than usual. Sorry to the people I'm RP-ing with.

I'll be out of town on business for today and, if things go south, tomorrow.

If things go horrible wrong, I'll be gone till Tuesday
