Deku stop licking lupine's ice cream cone.

Seriously.

(Actually my real reason for posting here is to apologize to my players, been moving and the last few days have been hectic as all get out, story/gm posts will be up on the 'morrow. Thanks for being good sports about this.)

So anyone who's been here has probably noticed that my presence has been next to nil over the past two weeks. This is because I am moving on Monday.

To a new job.

Rest assured, once I have everything down and have moved out of St. Louis, I'll be back in force - even if I'm no longer available through the work hours of the weekdays. I've working actively on a new DDS broadcast, as well as hopefully finally opening admission for a new Reapers game, and hope to get that shit up and running sooner rather than later. Just gotta get this stuff done and have everything up and running by the time my job starts in June.

Have I mentioned I'm excited as hell?

I'm back. Looking to get into some mischief. Please to be PMing me if you would like me, otherwise I'll be warming up my rusty RPing by threadjacking the entire extranet. 3:)

Going to be preoccupied for pretty much all of tomorrow, just a heads-up.

EDIT: Also HAI JOOOOOZ

((OOC: Please note that for the time being, this is solely an RP account, and not an IC board account. In other words, Paroc is not actively aware of what is going on or being discussed on the boards.))

Just writing in that Muck and I have returned from our unannounced and much needed vacation, and will start writing up our posts to past threads sometime this weekend. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Well, yes and no, but that's not the only reason we took a break. As much as I like RPing, if its starting to feel more like work, and less like fun, then you need to take a break at the very least. A short hiatus just felt needed, thats all.

Sorry if I haven't been around as much - or, well, at all - in the past six weeks. However, my spate of teaching night classes and 15-hour days is about to end. I should be back to posting here by next weekend.

So don't burn the place down in that time.

Hate to have to pop off so soon after my return, but I'm going to be in England for the next three and a half weeks with the girlfriend, so my posting presence will be sporadic at best. If you need me, you can raise me by PM on the old site. Have fun burning the place down without me!

Jeral the Improbable Here I am. Just being awesome.
I might be posting up a much longer version of this that I starting writing, but for now I just wanted to throw up an "offical" goodbye to CDN. In interest of brevity, I'll just say that I seem to have lost whatever vital spark kept me posting here for a year and a half and feel like its time to call it quits.

I do want to say thank you to all of CDN, however. This board came into my life during a time when I was pretty lonely. Believe it or not, you guys helped me through a rather difficult patch, and I won't soon forget that.

I also want to say a thanks for what playing Jeral taught me. Playing a happy frog made me realize that I have a choice in how I see the world, and I can choose to see the beautiful things, the things worth smiling at, laughing at, or just being awe of. You, the community of CDN, legitimately have changed my life for the better. I'ma happier person than I have ever been, and my time here had a part in in teaching me how to choose to be happy.

Lastly, some personal "thank you"s.. If you are not listed here, I hope you will forgive me and understand its not that I don't value the unlisted, but these are just the people who stick out in my mind at the moment.

ESpiza: There would have been no Jeral without Emon Spiza. I straight up had a blast role-playing with you, and I'm sad we couldn't do more of it before I left. You helped me becoming a better writer and encouraged me to experiment and improve. It was awesome, man.

Harrad: I would have quit literally three days after starting at CDN if it hadn't been for your calm headed response to my whining and bitter PM about the "the jerky-jerks at CDN.". I would also like to think that, though we didn't get to RP nearly as much as I would have hoped, we had become friends, and means a lot to me. You helped me through a lonely time, whether you knew it or not. CDN is lucky to have you, and your friends are lucky to know you. Stay awesome, dude.

Alex: Duuuuuuuude. I doubt you'll believe this because of your continual refusal to accept compliments or see the good in yourself, but your friendship meant a ton to me. I looked forward to coming online and seeing you on IRC, and the trouble Seamus and Alex got into was a great source of entertainment. Thanks for the fun, man, and now that you were a friend to me,

Abad: I respect you quite a bit. You had no problem calling out BS for what it was, and that's something I've never been able to do. You keep me honest with myself, and I appreciate that. Plus you were pretty fun to have around dueing the MP sessions. Good look in the future, dude.

Sandman: just in case you didn't know, I consider you legitimately a friend. Seriously, anytime you need me, feel free to drop a line. (I'll message you an e-mail or something).

Kari: Pretty much what I just said to Sandy. I consider you a friend and wouldn't mind the chance to keep in touch, even if I leave behind CDN.

Vigilant: you are a pretty cool dude, and I'm sorry I wasn't really as available as I would have hoped as of late. Stay positive out there, okay?

I know there are people I'm forgetting, and hopefully I'll be able to get a hold of you for a more personal thanks. But accept one free e-hug as compensation.

~(^~^)~

To everyone else: I'll miss you guys, and I hope you have many RP blasts in the future!

(also, I'm leaving this here as a bit of an admission/afterthought. I don't KNOW that this is my last post ever on CDN, but just in case, I wanted to get these things off my chest. Even if tomorrow I suddenly start being active again, none of what I have said will be any less true about the people. So, i fifure, why not seize the moment to say these things. Anyways, stay or go, I mean what I say. Right then, peace out!)
