Also, you do realise that it's mighty hard to efficiently implement conscription when your capital is destroyed and with it your census data and electoral roll, right? And that even if we had conscripted as many humans as we could get our hands on, along with the thousands of volunteers and people who were conscripted, we wouldn't have had the ships, guns or supplies to make them soldiers rather than bodies? But I'm sorry, the Alliance couldn't be bothered saving itself or its population! We should have gone the Cerberus route and turned against other organics while the Reapers tried to destroy us all.
