Serious or not, you might be on to something there - the one going by Caste Aside really owned the stage.Just taking a moment before heading out to remind everyone that tonight is the Sirta Foundation charity ball - always held during Bliss (the influx of prominent people from all over the galaxy is useful like that), although as usual not formally a part of the festival. So nobody's going to be getting their gear off and dancing on tables, but Sirta always put on a wonderful party for guests, the charity auction's rumoured to have some pretty nifty items on offer this year, and it's for a really good cause. (Plus if I'm charming enough, we might wind up with a partnership with their Illium office, which'd be pretty darn useful.) |

DAY EIGHT
We’re into week two of Bliss, and the party is showing no signs of slowing down! As is traditional here at the festival, day eight is when all the high-tech gadgets come out to play, with a number of major manufacturers of leisure technology opening the doors on their festival offices today. As is invariably the case all eyes are on Matriark, leading the Republican contingent with a stunning lineup of models and performers ready to show the galaxy what’s hot in hardware this season. Ariake, previous contributors to a number of festival-favourite brands, will be heading a naturally strong Terran presence this year - they are right next door, after all - and the curious and adventurous will be looking at what Total Tuchanka Toys has to offer in their debut showing here at Bliss. With everyone’s shopping bags as full as they’re bound to be after all that, it’s fitting that this afternoon’s series of seminars and live shows are headlined by Nerissa Waters, Saara T’Nems, Damian Jason, Vyxis Anotiy, Sinji, and a stellar lineup of supporting performers. What could bring that sort of talent together in one place? You, of course - today it’s all about loving yourself in the very literal sense, and when you’re indulging in a spot of self-exploration, there’s nothing like having the galaxy’s most accomplished sexy stars putting a few helpful markers on your map. Don’t miss out! This is Sally Silken, reporting from Bliss Festival for IEN. |

Daia, do you think I am? They kind of didn't even ask, I just got told when and where! I guess I owe that honor to Ariake:PI didn't see Carth around today, I hope he is not hiding from me now? If you run into him, tell him, I'm sorry and that Freh is not mad anymore! |

DAY NINE
Welcome once again, folks. It’s day nine here on Tayseri, and the emblem of the Sapphire Alliance is shining proudly on every banner this morning, as the Citadel’s - and the galaxy’s - most respected and influential union of exotic performers and escorts shares all its millennia of experience and wisdom with us today. Everyone from Kalla Jannios will be here to present seminars, hold Q&A sessions, put on some racy demonstrations, and show us all the best that the sex industry can be. Thinking of a career in escorting? Or just thinking of visiting one? Curious about what it takes to work a stage? Or even wondering about other jobs in the industry, besides the eye-catchingly obvious ones? The Alliance has it all covered today, so whether you’re interested for professional reasons, personal ones, or just idly curious, you’ll come out of today a wiser person with a fuller understanding of this vibrant and diverse industry, and the efforts of the people who strive to keep it safe, healthy, and joyful, as it should be. Don’t skip the evening attractions though, because in addition to the ongoing dance and live stage shows, Bliss has a very special presentation tonight: compiled by some of the galaxy’s most respected scholars, the Anatela Society is proud to present the erotic literature of pre-exodus Rakhana. Drell and other scholars and performers will be joining forces to present this unique glimpse into the past, and the underpinnings of modern drell sexuality. This is not to be missed, folks - don’t be late! This is Sally Silken, reporting from Bliss Festival for IEN. |

This a day 'at work' I am going to enjoy, just meetings with Alliance and Sisterhood representatives.
The drell panels will also be fascinating. |

Forgive my crudeness but, with all due consideration to the drell on this board, there's something a tad macabre about publicly and explicitly displaying the pornographic scribblings of a species that, quite literally, fucked it's planet into ecological oblivion. Hey, if you're good at something you might as well show it. |

Sugar, my dear (and by my dear I mean you dim, humorless, cow) try to take a moment and apply the half dozen or so brain cells you have left to this particular conundrum. It may take a few minutes but I'm sure you'll get there eventually.

DAY TEN
Welcome again, pleasure-seekers of the galaxy, to the happiest place in space! Day ten truly has something for everyone, as Bliss presents fourteen cabaret stages of non-stop performance action from dawn ‘til late. From Thessia’s most devoted artisans of sensuality to Earth’s vibrant striptease scene, from Palaven’s rocking sex-metal bands to the Terminus’s wildest hardcore shows, there’s no other time and no other place you’ll find such a panorama of erotic art all in one location, so take advantage of it! This reporter’s only regret is that you can only be at one stage at a time - but for all those sharing the sentiment, you can look forward to full multi-angle hi-res surround-sound sense-enhanced coverage of every single act, in the ‘Bliss: Galactic Energy’ compilation, scheduled to hit stores and from Bliss’s extranet site just as soon as the vid-techs can put it all together. For those looking for something a little quieter, though, don’t feel left out: all day at the Matriarch Avansa Gardens you can be treated to dramatic readings of some of the galaxy’s finest written erotics, performed by the most sultry voices you’ve ever heard. And don’t think there are going to be any faces-for-radio here, folks, the readings will be accompanied by expressive and entrancing performance art, making for a truly unique experience. This is Sally Silken, reporting from Bliss Festival for IEN. |

Very quick note, gotta go get into costume so I can get out of costume - I'll be on stage 3, act number 5 this morning. Stage 3 act 5, come check it out, I love an audience. :) And later on I'll be reading from 'The Ocean's Maiden', if you're a fan (or want to be), come along to that too. Bye for now!

DAY ELEVEN
Welcome back, pleasure seekers, and look no further for everything you could ever want to know - the lively and informative Bliss knowledge fest is in full swing, with no fewer than twenty-eight halls and speaking venues operating, covering every area of sexuality imaginable. Highlights today include an all-day S&M Q&A with a roundtable of famous (or should that be infamous) media stars and experienced practitioners from all walks and kinks. Cross-check your scheduled with those fantasies you’ve always had and never dared explore, and discover something amazing today. For those of a more technically inquiring nature (or if you already know everything you need to about the St. Andrew’s Cross and other favourites), the Carus New Media Group will be hosting a series of talks and demonstrations focusing on multimedia erotica. Whether you’re aiming to be the next Seysa Jannus, want a wider audience for your homemade dance vids, or are just curious about all the ways modern communications technology works with the adult industry, there’ll be something to enlighten you. Don’t spend too much time taking notes though, because the main stage lights up tonight with a show you won’t want to take your eyes off for even a minute. For the first time ever, Earth’s Aaron Stone joins the legendary Biotic Bad Boys for a strip show that’ll have the ladies (and they’re not forgetting you gents, either) calling encore all through the night and well into tomorrow morning if they have their way. This is Sally Silken, reporting from Bliss Festival for IEN, except for the next couple of hours when this reporter will be getting her quota of Bad Boy Bliss! |

Daia, your 'Ocean's Maiden' was a superb reading. You have a quite mesmerizing voice:)
Thank you for that tip, I had to sneak away from a meeting but it was definitely worth it. the legendary Biotic Bad Boys

Can't wait for that blasted thing to end, more and more shady individuals are propositioning our kids. There are prostitutes everywhere, and they go ask the destitute kids, as if it becomes ok during that festival! I reported a few to C-Sec already.
Fuckers. Leaving the Ducts offer a training, support and professional opportunities to all Citadel Orphans. We're based on Tayseri Wards, ask me information! Donations are much appreciated. |

Just another quick note for those interested - I know it clashes with the Bad Boys (and I understand the appeal there), but one of the evening panels will be a crossover of sorts, S&M and media, and will feature Ana as one of the panelists, along with Ran Hamul and Selucia Love of AIA, as well as a number of other representatives of various companies and performers. It's looking to be an intriguing discussion, so hopefully not everyone will be lured off to the main stage by then. :)
Mr_Sandman wrote:I just had my crown polished and my siberian-tiger fur trimmed robes laundered and I would hate to get commoner all over them.
I should certainly hope so. Anyone who can't make the time to polish their own crown is just setting a bad example.(Note for people preemptively getting their panties in a twist over the idle rich: I'm joking.) Taleeze wrote:Cool, Daia! I'll be there, first row:)

Thank you both, it was great to see familiar faces in the audiences. Re: the dramatic reading, that was really very enjoyable, and a lot of people were quite positive (not just me, I heard the same from many of the other readings going on). We might have to look into an Apricity Book Club, or something of the sort.HereToHelp wrote:Can't wait for that blasted thing to end, more and more shady individuals are propositioning our kids. As in kids kids? That's disgraceful, you were absolutely right to report them. Even if I misunderstood, that still sounds like very unprofessional behaviour, anyone carrying a license ought to be conducting themselves in a far more acceptable way in public areas. That sort of thing shames all of us. If you have any further trouble with sex workers - especially if they're not carrying the proper credentials - the Sapphire Alliance has contact lines to advise you on what steps to take (including how to approach C-Sec more specifically than just making a standard complaint). |
