Strangely, thinking about it, that kinda makes sense, but who the fuck thought of that?
Wenn ich dir sagte dass ich dich liebte, wurdest du dasselbe sagen? |

These ones must learn to navigate their changed reality as best they can, and must incorporate into their being many difficult truths that were revealed through the trials of the Darkening. It acknowledges that such is not an easy task! Interpreting recent events in terms of pre-existing belief structures is inevitable, although this one believes it is often contrary to attainment of greater insight. (It trusts it has not been rude in suggesting this).
It is disturbed, but not surprised, to learn that the Great Tempest is being interpreted in accordance with notions of cosmological necessity, and that it is retroactively being placed within pre-existing metaphysical constructs which are altered only so far as is needed to accommodate new information. This one is intrigued, though, to learn that the interpretation of the Wheel under discussion has been adopted by an apparently significant quantity of non-salarians. It of course comprehends that no belief system is limited to the species which originated it, but this one has always been interested in the potentialities of spiritual exchange! It wonders, given the explanation wherein the other justified the Wheel's appeal in terms of specifically salarian experience founded in biological realities, how a member of another species might relate to the concept? What new arguments are brought into play by the incorporation of non-salarian perspectives? It must engage in further research. "I was blind, and I cannot say I had eyes to see the truth. I was a fool, and I cannot say I had sense to know the truth. I was lost, and I cannot say I could have found the truth. In the darkness, truth found me." |

It is not a purely salarian phenomenon. There are some hanar sects that espouse very nearly the same thing, that the Reapers are the true Enkindlers (which is correct, in a certain way) and that stopping the cycle has ruined some unknowable, divine plan. And it is unlikely that they are indoctrinated.
From what our analysts can tell, they have evolved from more nihilistic traditions, or even [luddite] ones. They are not really cohesive enough yet to affect anything, but they are being being watched closely. |

This one admits that it has not been following news from the homeworld as closely as perhaps it should.
