Hueyt looked on at Santiago and Sololov in interest, not offering much more than a nod or a low "hmm". He did chuckle a bit at Cline, though, who didn't seem too thrilled by the corporals'... excitement.
"We're not allowed to change our weapons much. What's issued by the Q-uey is what we get. Before the war, we weren't even allowed rifles outside of exercises." With a certain 'what can you do' look, he turned back to Cline, relishing the change in topic. "Yeah, I heard that too. But it will certainly be interesting. I mean, the Power and the Crows both have had most of their state obliterated. Who even knows what's going to happen regarding that." The Australian was quite for a moment, before "probably just going to chuck 'em all together, maybe? What's rest of the leagues I mean: AFL, SANFL, VFL, NTFL, WAFL, y'know? I think it would be interesting to see some of those young Centrals or Roosters playing in with the big dogs." He smiled and was silent again for a moment. Suddenly, the look on his face ganged to puzzlement. "You interested in Aussie Rules or something, Cline? I had no idea you guys- Candians, that is- liked it." |

"One of my old squadmates from my first tour with the SAMC ended up introducing me to it, but he died during Hammer... Service Chief Jacob Guilliamette. He was a die-hard Hawthorn fan, ended up getting me to barrack for the Hawks. Also, I was actually able to see the 2183 Grand Final with the Hawks facing Collingwood."
