The priest nodded, turning back towards his office. "She's a traditional girl. Wear a shirt with a open collar."
Kayana made a sound that was halfway between "ahhhh" and "gack". |

Hadas couldn't help but snicker, while looking at the office, he took a tentative step towards it.
"I don't think me popping a collar would impress her much." |

Kayana stood up, glancing at-well, some spot on the ceiling, because she really did to like to look at the throat of a handsome man. At least she didn't have to worry about Hadas getting his ass kicked. "I'll go clean up those flyers."
The office was small. In drell fashion, there were a lot less recording devices, less paper and notes than you would see in an alien's office, but there were many books, a large write-on calendar on the wall. A small, intricate travelling shrine was set up in one corner. "Well, I suppose that's not my problem. Was there something else?" |

Hadas shook his head as he entered the office and bowed out of reflex towards the small shrine before he continued to talk to the priest. "No, thank you, can I do something for you?"

The priest smiled slightly, affecting a serious face before turning back to the boy-who was, apparently, as mercurial as Kayana.
"I need someone to clean the main room aft services. I need someone to watch the children so that adults can worship in a matter fitting. And there is a young woman in the congregation, quite young, recently returned to the citadel, no family. Bit of an activist. Needs company." |

Hadas could see a con when he saw one, the guy wanted cheap labor and he knew Hadas had to play nice... So the young drell did just that, play as nice as he could, but he wasn't just going just nod and not say anything.
"Can't help with the children, I have zero experience with it and it would probably end with very angry parents." he smiled apologetically, he didn't want the children job and he wasn't really lying either, it would be a disaster. "But... I'm between steady jobs at the moment so it wouldn't be really that much bother for me to help clean-up the main room, at-least for now. As for the company," he grinned, "I think I can manage that." |
