...see, I'd bet that was Ollanius Pius, but apparently he doesn't exist anymore according to GW because normal humans can't have plascrete balls of that magnitude because GRIMDARK OVERLOAD so it clearly can't be him >:I

Not exactly. Abnett wrote him back into the canon in Know No Fear but he's not quite the same character as before. Whether this is good or bad is up to you. |

Ha! So I was right. And I think that the story was diminished by him being retconned to a big badass marine. It removes the David and Goliath-esque aspect from it, which seemed to be the whole point of the story to me.
