Reapers XX: The Heist

Current Game Status: Game Over

Everything was going along just fine in the branch office of the First Bank of Irune when things went tits up. Four masked individuals, a vorcha, a drell, a human and a salarian entered the bank, shot the guards. They are keeping the customers and staff under gun-point as their safe cracker began to drill into safe to get the eezo.

The alarm was triggered however and now the robbers, and the civilians are all stuck in same building.

What's happening now! (Read This, There Is Important Gameplay Information)

1. At this moment the C-Sec is negotiating with the robber's fixer, in 12 hours from now the robbers will be able to leave the bank unarmed and rich beyond their wildest dreams!
2. Each robber can shoot one person an hour meaning the four of them can shoot four other players each hour. If they do this they 3 hours will be added to the time to leave. If they shoot everyone THEY WILL LOSE.
3. Any person who dies that wasn't killed by the robbers, of example by lynching results in reducing the robbers need to wait before they can leave by 3 hours, because C-Sec doesn't want anyone to be hurt. More importantly if you lynch a robber they all get free shots (except for the lynched).
4. The robbers can give simple orders to non-robbers, meaning ins short if they say you should write in haiku form you are expected to write in haiku. They can't order you to shut-up. If two of them give contradicting orders then the last (newest) order is the one that must be followed.
5. The elcor player must stay in character as described in your PM during play.
6. Don't try to kill the elcor, he's immortal. An attack might at most slow him down a bit.
7. The elcor player is free to ignore orders from the robbers if the whim strikes him, the elcor plays by his own rules, he's a maverick!
8. Remember your objectives, remember the private chats some of you have access too, remember that I am a sneaky guy and there's probably some sneaky stuff happening in the background... or maybe not.
9. Stealth actions must be sent via PM to me, non-stealth actions can be sent to me via PM or put on the board.
10. Lynch votes are only reset after a lynch, otherwise they will go on from hour to hour.

4. The game time is counted in hours; each hour takes 24 hours real time, a schedule below will be posted for your convenience.

6. There is a simple majority lynch; meaning 50% 1 vote will result in a lynch. Lynching does not advanced the day or hour. There is a delay of two hours between lynching's.

This is weird! I don't know what we're meant to do, since lynching people helps the robbers? Are we just supposed to sit around and do what they say? That's not a very good plan! D:

We could A) Lynch the robbers, which would be a bad idea

or B) Pre-emptively realize that we are likely infiltrated with some group or another, and start looking for murderers/psychopaths/reaper cultists/embezzling douchecanoes.

The masked salarian turned and began to walk around the room. "Now, who here has an omni-tool?" He looked back and forth at the hostages. "Some of you are probably thinking 'Oh, I have an omni-tool! Maybe if I took it off slowly and put it in the bag, the men in the mask won't have to put a bullet through my head,' in which case I'd like to congratulate you on your cognitive abilities. Please take your omni-tools off and give them to me when I get to you. Let's make this nice and easy, and we'll all be going home today."

Ok then. Plan B it is. A staff member who thinks getting rid of the robbers is a bad idea? They can kill four of us a turn or three of us a turn and then two, and so on. We don't need to kill all of them obviously, since we may need their guns. But having fewer guns might not be bad. But as per your idea

Ok. Must be the most interesting setting and start for a Reapers game that I've ever seen.

Back to business though. Our conventional tactics don't work here VVSVISVA, so I'd say starting to lynch people randomly might not be the best course of actions. We know exactly who the bad guys are, but lynching them isn't really an option...

One more thing, if we all get killed we technically win because the robbers lose, but we'll run out of time if we just lynch everyone. And Dippy has probably thought about the hostage-side just killing themselves, so there's porbably that much killer-roles running around.

...Well, looks like our krogan might have injured a robber.

I'm actually uncertain as to whether that's a good thing or not.

Okay here's what happens.

The krogan (Lork) slams is his fist towards RTB face, the salarian however is not there anymore, instead making a somersault over krogan shoots him in the head. The krogan however shrugs off the attack, turning around and trying to slam the salarian again, only getting a broken hand in return and one more shot.

The fight ends in a draw.

Result a Draw, No Deaths... C-Sec who have been monitoring the situation is more concerned about the behavior of the hostages, this reduces the time left before the robbers can get away from 12 hours to 11 hours.

I see, given the high number of new players in the game, we get the most inexpericened people to lynch the robbers. WE don't lose anyone of value, and we might just remove a robber. Saying this, I shall take the risk.

God bloody damn it people, running up to try and punch people in the face when they have a gun is a stupid idea, so let's just calm the bloody hell down before the salarian and his mates actually starts shooting people, shall we?

VVSVISVA, that plan makes literally no sense because there are indeed murderers and psychos in the room. They're the robbers with the bloody guns, you prat! Granted, trying to lynch the robbers is a poor idea because it means they get to shoot people for ... pretty obvious reasons, but right now we need to not wreck our own case while we're at it. Besides, you're a member of staff here, why are you trying to get us all to worry about each other more than the people holding us hostage right now?

And bloody hell, Mombasa, stop trying to kill yourself for the cause over there. C-Sec's working on getting us all out. Why force the thugs to start going for us when we can get out alive when we get released?
