Michelle clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"You know, you pepper spray one priest and suddenly people think you're an airhead! I'll have you know Mr Snow that we are not throwing this kid to the first elcor that came by and wish for the best. I'm sure you wish you could have questioned him thoroughly but it is not the best basis for a trust relationship. We WILL, however, exercise caution and follow the kid over the next weeks. Not only out of mistrust to Xuumo mind you, but also because integration will be a bitch. This child will have a lot of trouble adjusting to parental authority and school schedule and demands. And we have to make sure he won't fall of the rail. While we do that, we'll make sure this elcor gentleman has Alonso's best interest at heart." |

"It isn't because Alonso's new guardian is Elcor Miss, it's that Xuumo did his damndest not to answer any questions as to why Alonso is so fuckin' important, along with his hesitation when SATAE was brought up. Shit, I just feel he's hiding something, and that means he's trying to pull one over on us", the lean charity worker retorted in disbelief, Miss Rondor TRUSTING that lumbering individual, he hadn't earned that right from him, and Snow wasn't about to give trust away, "We just tweaked the LTE's balls, and for what? An elcor we met on the extranet? Sorry if I'm not filled with confidence about that." Snow trying to cool down as he explained the precarious situation to Miss Whiskers, the two of them nearing Leaving the Ducts, and a man that seemed familiar to Julian Snow. He was wearing casual slacks, black utility boots, and a dark red dress shirt, but his posture, brown eyes and auburn hair caught Snow's attention. Stepping in front of Miss Rondor, the hooded runner whispering, "Randall Erskine?"
"Julian Snow, been what, six years?" Randall smiling at the unlikely duo, a bouquet of Myosotis flowers in his right hand as he approached the duo, handing Miss Rondor the flowers with a roguish swagger, his eyes returning to her employee, "Last I heard of you Snowman, your unit was wiped out on Benning, and now you're here. But that's for another time, I came here on the behalf of my employer, one Alystae T'Naron." At the mention of the asari name Randall's smile faded, replaced by a cool menace in his posture, causing Snow to shift his stance, "Let me guess Randall, this blueback smiler, she's the shotcaller for the New Dillinaga Co-op, because if she was LTE, I'd already be dead," the charity worker replying with a trace of belligerence, causing Randall to chuckle, "You've had a rough day, so I'll let that one slide Snowman, this time. As for what Miss T'Naron wants, well, just to be ready to meet, we know where to find you both. Be seein' ya." With those last words Randall Erskine walked back towards the bazaar, giving Miss Rondor a sly wink before disappearing into the crowd, leaving the two charity workers in an even more confused state.
