While restocking military supplies with the surpluses is a good way to save money, I don't see why we should be trying to rebuild the CDF. C-Sec is still hurting plenty, and that should be our real priority. I know that they're technically part of the CDF, but since people have been slowly going back to their lives since the relays reopened, it's not going to stick around, and we'll still have the Citadel Fleet afterward.
So why not put the gear funding towards C-Sec? Also, real nice, trying to use scare tactics like that. You know what's stopping Terminus pirates? The Citadel Fleet. And the Alliance. And C-Sec. And... This is why I still don't get this obsession with democracy. Pretty much exactly what he said, minus the snipe at democracy. While I appreciate the efforts of the CDF, and honor its brave men and women (many who gave their lives in the Reaper war) it was created in the midst of a galactic war. For now, we should be rebuilding the Citadel Fleet and C-SEC. Or, if the CDF is to continue, it should be in a manner that works with the established organizations concerned with security within the Citadel and C-space instead of just arming a militia in the middle of peace time. After all, if you arming these people, there needs to be some sort of oversight. If you notice any suspicious activity, please alert your local C-SEC division. My point is, given how undefended the rest of Alliance Space seems to be, I'm fairly certain a pirate could last longer then ten seconds in the Sol system. There is reason for hope. |

Really? Really you utter tool? The Alliance sat an entire goddamn fleet in the Sol System before the war, plus orbital defenses. The SA will have just as many ships if not more sitting in the Sol System now that the fucking Citadel is in the system. Try to think. I know it must be difficult but try, it can be rewarding. |
