Instead of simply handing over another ineffective warning, we hereby permanently ban her from the forum, as well as from the channel #CDN. On a somewhat related note, Users FourEyesForTheWin and Telos are hereby warned for bullying another member of the forum. Do not attack a player for presenting a strong argument without making things up on the spot. Make a better argument instead. |

Mod action - 2013-07-25
There have been complaints about the sexual nature of several threads going on. The specific users have been warned in their relevant threads. While the boards have a PG-13 rating, and some sexual content is expected, serious or joking, sex is not nor should not be the focus of the threads. We are not going to ban characters who have distinctly sexual personalities, but we do expect them to widen their scope beyond that one topic. Keep things tasteful, we don't need to know how sci-fi fetish gear works. And when in doubt fade to black, sooner rather than later. This issue has come up in the past, and we want to keep it from resurfacing again and again. There has been a very good post on the matter, and we recommend that everyone read it. Remember that the board rules clearly state that the board should maintain a PG-13 rating. While we accept the occasional slip-up, we are not going to allow the overall rating of threads to devolve. Thank you. |

Character Flesh Vats has been banned for a week, pending review, and the player warned that vile atrocities and graphic detail can go far beyond the point of good taste. The thread in question has been locked and hidden for purposes of keeping the board at a semi-family friendly rating, and the mods will be discussing the extension of policies surrounding certain character concepts in the interest of avoiding this in the future. Other players, particularly those in the IRC, are asked that when encountering such threads and topics in the future, if they feel they cannot act without getting immediately hostile, to avoid engaging the issue and talk to a moderator as soon as one is available. Personal attacks on another player, regardless of what that player has done, will not be tolerated. There are high roads. Please use them. |

At this point, I am obligated to reiterate the following: Causality[T]he Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V) no longer recognizes Asperger's Syndrome as a subcategory of autism, but folds it into Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Further, claims of the disease's diagnosis are not acceptable grounds for violating forum rules, as we can neither verify the veracity of these claims nor maintain the constant board presence required to accommodate the issue. As a forum, we must rely on the good faith that the afflicted member will either police themselves or, in the absence of capacity to do so, to allow a friend to do so for them.
