Admiration isn't the word I would use for how most aliens see it by the way. Most (like you I am guessing) just regard it as a curiosity.

You doubt my motives, aren’t you? Well, remember that person who actually started all this with his post? I think he was truly in awe from what he had experienced. Would you say, he was observing a simple curiosity? For me this mixes with professional interest as well. I am dancing for a living (as we speak anyway, I wasn’t always) so widening the horizon on your field of profession is just the natural thing to do, right? Also, this has to do with respect. Being curious about cultural heritage of other species makes you understand them better and it will enhance the general respect. So, no, this is not a curiosity for me.
Which doesn't mean that there aren't individuals who view quarians as a curiosity. Sadly, you are right about that...

And I find it funny what you say about our legs though. I never thought of them as weak looking.

That other post… well, that man seemed disturbed and had also a bit of a simplistic view (“quarians die on contact”) so I just thought, I could help him find good and valid information about this. Have you ever looked at Envirometrics? One of their CEOs is a quarian actually and the information they provide are good!

But to answer your question, I do regard you as an earnest and cautious woman who has faced a lot of hardships and does not want the piece of culture she holds, to get stained. Which I would say is a noble cause, I respect that.

But then, after your conclusions, what do you regard me as, Kari?

Don't worry about the time the courses can take. Asari universities all have alien programs, we used to have a lot of turians, elcor, salarians back in the days. Your kind wasn't in the picture yet when I was there.
The class structure is more floating and liberal, you can switch from class to class fairly easy if it's moving too fast or too slow. Maybe you enjoy a slower approach on certain subjects and a faster one on others.
Ask the Matriarch about a test application that allows you to judge your level of knowledge. There are nice interactive tools that suggest preparation seminars or speed programs based on your results.
