b. I run the company, I don't handle sales; especially not this kind of sale. If you want somebody who does I suggest that you contact the sales division of Hydra Armaments where you can work out something called a payment plan for a custom order. Shockingly enough you are not the first person to want something special.

Cooking show huh? Intriguing - I'm only marginally competent in a kitchen myself, but I enjoy trying, so you've got one viewer already.

So far as arranging one, it depends on what kind of distribution you're after, really. If you're thinking of a scheduled show with a network, I'm sure there are avenues into that sort of thing, but apart from 'Avoid Dwick' I don't really have any advice to offer. If you want to go "indie" as they say, that's another matter, and quite practical - 'show' and 'vidcast' are more or less interchangeable nowadays, so you'd essentially be doing what we used to do with From Illium. You'll need a camera obviously - I can link you to some free software that'll turn out surprisingly polished-looking a/v from commonly-available inexpensive hovercams or static cams - and some editing software, where again I can point you in the right direction. After that it's just a matter of setting up an account on a media handler - cTunes always worked well for us, although we had another Illium-based service to handle viewers in the Terminus (you probably wouldn't need to bother about that, even if you do want CDN's far-flung denizens to be able to 'tune in': cTunes's Terminus re-host coverage is pretty good, it just gets a bit spotty on speed, but people can download to view later - maybe look into Earth-based local hosts though), upload a show on some sort of semi-regular basis, et voila.

So, it is Chris who's looking to become a culinary media superstar? If so, will you be joining in? We always found on From Illium that the show worked best when it was a conversation, not just one person presenting material to the camera - though, different format, that was a chat show by nature, cooking is more of a presentation sort of thing. Experiment, see what works. Good fortune to you, Chris, and/or whoever else it might be that you're asking on behalf of.

Incidentally, I spotted another post of yours, indicating you're pregnant? Congratulations! You'll make a wonderful mother, and Chris a terrific father I'm certain.

Hey there! Thanks for the quick response, I know you're busy!

Chris has been talking about how she's been wanting to start another restaurant- The one we have is jammed during the lunch hours and we could get more revenue by either expanding this one or opening a second location. She's very business oriented- To the point she's out and about during the week and into the odd hours with the catering side. She's hinted a show might be in the works if a second restaurant doesn't work out- Restaurants are /very/ expensive to run, with food waste incurring a loss. Every time someone throws out a meal half-finished, we lose money. So, the gourmet dishes are expensive for a reason- Although it's not the most popular food on the menu, which is more around the mid-range (specifically, the sandwiches.)

She started this to get her mind off the war and after all that's happened. She's only got a few cousins left that live back on Bekenstein. I'm frankly amazed how much endurance she has- Whenever she gets home, it's almost immediately out like a light. During the day, it's WORK WORK WORK WORK and it's not that much different from me- We both work our asses off during the day and it's usually clocking out (figuratively) by the time either of us is home. I just want to try to help her. I've talked to her about getting onto the Dwick Dwickast Syndicate and showed her what it was- And she suggested we go to counseling again (so that's completely off the table.)

Yes! I'm having a baby. As for the parental roles, I'm not quite sure who's going to be what. We're going to do the best we can (I know that for sure. Really unsure about a lot of things about this, but I'm going to figure it out when the appropriate time comes.
