From everything I know, at least in the beginning he tried to do what he considered the best. (Not saying I am fond of the methods though.) Things obviously turned for the worse. I assume only he knew all details.

Errr, that sounds a bit... Difficult. I suggest asking someone of the mods about that in the Virtual Lounge, though I guess the answer probably will be "Not on CDN"

Try 'The Panopticon Project' board here on the site. It's designed for 'alternate universes' and so on, nothing that happens there is CDN canon so there aren't really any restrictions.

Here's an Open thread on the Citadel that's already got some members of CDN doing the mingle thing as well as some ongoing subplots that a C-Sec officer could naturally get involved in like, say, walking in on the handoff outside the club, interviewing certain people there as "people of interest" or even just picking up some of the gossip going on. Loads for someone, especially a new guy to do, only thing to watch out for is hijacking someone else's character (like dictating their actions or going "and then X did this" or what have you). Other than that though? You should be fine.
Oh! Also! You've made some comments in the IC messageboard section; just wanted to say good on you for that. That's usually a good spot to ease into things right there. |

Fair enough and I'll cop to the fact that there aren't nearly as many open threads as there should be (board as a whole's been a bit lax there >>) but here's a few thoughts: try posting in the open thread I linked or maybe this one (props to Pariah), just to kinda dip your toe in the water. Get a feel for some of the characters on the Citadel, posting on the board in general, and possibly working on plot ideas with some of the people there (a lot of the closed threads sprung off from Open Thread ideas, use the IRC or get a PM account on the old boards). But, in the meantime, what closed threads and arcs do you like in particular? Depending on the thread and people in question (like the Noir thread which is open upon request to the thread GM) it might be possible to get you involved directly or, failing that, there are plenty of people here (me included) who would be more than happy to help you set up a thread of your own be it open or closed in a vein you like.
