The tiny blurs began to zoom ever closer, rotating as they flew. The jets blew by reletivly slowly, Daisy's upside down. The platinum haired pilot snapped. a quick omni-pic of the two as they flew by.
Umm, Day, what are you doing? I saw it in an old movie and thought it was funny Mandy shook her head, highly confused but smiling at her partner's antics |

Taleeze watched as the fighters flew past. The looks of the machines were different than the ones her dad used to fly but it was the same game, the same dance in the sky.
"You are the best already and you we will improve together." And I would love to have your babies someday, Skylar. She didn't say that and she knew she probably didn't have to. Melds tended to share subconscious ideas on their own if you really just let go. Why was sh feeling so restless sometimes, always urging to move? Not to other people, but places. "Freh'ya will be coming to the Citadel when you are there. You have no idea how I look forward to that. I miss her really bad and you know... somehow... it's weird, I know, but i never was really worried about what she does. But now all of a sudden I am. Do I make sense? Something changed with the bond and it deepened everything." Taleeze was wondering how alone they actually were out here. She chuckled, thinking how Daia would not care about that. The sound of engines became louder again. |

"Oh good heavens," Skylar laughed, watching the two aircraft zoom by in formation. "Upside-down and everything." She let her laughter subside to a chuckle, glancing at Taleeze as she observed: "This must be like a dance for them."
She propped herself up on one elbow, looking down at the asari's face as she spoke, and nodded. "I miss her too," she agreed, tucking her hair out of her way behind her ear. "I understand. I think I do, at any rate. The war changed everything, and everyone. It's always been the way with wars, or so I'm told, in human history for what that's worth. People see so much being lost, they cling tighter to what they have." She smiled faintly, gently touching Taleeze's face. "Or what they've found." She looked up at the sky again, following the jets as they looped around for another pass. "I've been doing a little thinking," she went on. "I wouldn't want to leave you on the Citadel any sooner than I have to, but if Freh'ya's not on assignment afterwards, I'd perhaps like to go back to Nevos with her for a time, rather than coming straight back here. I don't have any pressing cases on, and I could use the time away from the 'office' to make some real headway through my Republican law studies." She grinned suddenly, impishly. "Predominantly spend time living with her, though. You've got a head start on me with her, a little catching up is in order, hm?" |

Hey Dee, you trust me? The pilot asked, flying an extra hundred meters past the point that her wing woman had stopped at.
With my life. The blue jet slowly pirouetted, keeping Daisy I view of it's pilot. Im going to try that move I have been working on Daisy no-Already doin it! The White Saber kicked into sub sonic and screamed over the couple in the grass, shooting to its destination in moments before the pilot jammed the controls up and into a flip, turning her 180 degrees into the direction she came from, upside down. The jet rotated so it was on it's side, then the left engine fired, sending the fighter cartwheeling away. The blue jet zoomed about worriedly, its pilot confident in her friend's skills, but terrified for her. The white Saber quickly lost altitude and speed. cartwheeling towards the ground. Daisy fired the flares for effect, but the speed of the jet's spin made it look like the jet was on fire. For a heart stopping moment, the jet vanished from view behind a hillock, and a massive, ear crushing boom was heard, rolling and echoing across the quaint little prairie. The anguished, broken voice of an asari screamed over the radio as Mandy crushed the comm button and demanded that Daisy answer her. The tears in her eyes were audible over the radio, obviously pouring down her face in the cockpit. What did I miss? Did somebody die? The platinum haired human chuckled as her jet flew low over the ground, shooting back up into the sky from the hill she had supposedly died behind. Shoals I love you you bitch! Mandy fired a burst of her cannon at the human, aiming wide for safety, but getting her point acrossed.

Taleeze observed the pirouettes as she listened to Skylar, she noticed the breakaway maneuver and then the jet came low over their spot in the grass with an awful lot noise and wind! She laughed, since the pilots seemed to enjoy themselves... then the white one made a really weird maneuver, as if one engine was developing an issue. Everything went terribly fast and all Taleeze could see was smoke coming from the spinning craft and screams on the open channel, coming from Skylar's omnitool!
Whatever amorous thoughts she might have had a few seconds ago where gone when the jet disppeared with that terrible sound! "Goddess..!" was all she could manage. But then Daisy came back from her little stunt! "Tides, that woman!" She couldn't help but laugh and drop back into the grass, relieved. "That is a terrible one, I'll have to tell her that. She may be responsible for heart attacks when she does that during the display!" When everything had settled down again, Taleeze exhaled and tried to remember what Skylar had said before the interruption. "Nevos, yes. Oh, yeah, I think she will be back on duty with her horde of pyjak recruits or something, the stay on the Citadel isn't even holidys, I think she said she was visiting a seminar on drones. So go, and have some time together, try and catch up, it sounds perfect." Taleeze was watching as the two jets reunited like lost lovers. "I wonder if her sleeping has become any better. You know, she's been wearing herself out a lot in the evenings lately - well... no awkward jokes, you know what I mean." Taleeze just stared at the sky a bit more. "I wished I could be around her more but then I think... that's not what she needs. She needs the two of us." |

"...Is she... supposed to be doing that...?" Skylar asked, fairly pointlessly, as Daisy's jet wheeled off-course and vanished from view. She stared a moment, then looked wordlessly at Taleeze - for what, she had no idea - and her head jerked back as the jet reappeared, the engine's howl seeming to her ears to be cackling with laughter.
"Indeed," she agreed - unheard by the pilots of course - with Mandy's assessment of the situation, then joined Taleeze in laughing along. She smiled and nodded as Taleeze related what Freh'ya had been up to lately; a small part of her was still relieved, in spite of knowing better than to expect anything else, at how willingly the asari accepted it all. 'While you're away I'll be spending lots of time with your wife,' sounded more like a line from a cheesy rom-comedy. But then, she wasn't some outsider. In an odd way, the surreality that sometimes crept up on her made her feel very special - that these two asari felt she was worth this extraordinary commitment. "I'm going to have to take care not to work myself too hard in the evenings too," she said. "All the study for the law course - I used to be that way first time round, did I ever tell you? Up to God knows what hours in the night with my head buried in books and data slates, chasing my degree and barely acknowledging the existence of the rest of the world." She chuckled to herself. "I do rather think I took to burlesque once I'd graduated as a rebellion against everything the university put me through. 'I've done your coursework, your assignments, your essays, dotted every 'i' and crossed every 't' - now I am a qualified lawyer, and I shall bloody well cavort around naked in front of an audience if I want to.'" She let her chuckle become a laugh, then looked over at Taleeze again. "I don't intend to fall into bad habits again," she promised. "The obsessive coursework, I mean to say. Not the cavorting around naked, that's absolutely a good habit. It's pleasant to think Freh'ya and I may be good for one another in that regard. I believe we will." |

The white jet set a tight spiral with the blue one, slowly climbing in circles while the pilots had a disjointed conversation over the radio, looking at eachother through the cockpit glass of their jets
Tides, I thought you died Day! I wouldnt just leave you like that Dee, you know that. I-I know I just... The jets reached their zenith and began a stall and reverse spiral towards the earth backwards Mandralla, I love you, you know that, Im not going to get myself killed over a littke display and leave you all by your lonesome. *sniff* I know Daisy, I love you too. Both jets flipped over about 50 yards from the ground, righting themselves and lazily trailing off, gaining altitude and flying close to each other. |
