At the sight of seeing the human vomit on the quarian that was just standing nearby, Beleus quickly stepped forward, grabbing a trash bin along the way, heading over so that he could place it near Gestran. "Are there any epinephrine injectors in there? If his airway closes up, then pills will be useless. And injecting in the blood will probably make it go faster." He suggested, trying to remember what he learned about human biology.

Emaleus, however, remained floating back, since there were enough people crowding the situation now.

With the sound of sirens, a hovering vehicle came to a skidding stop overhead, with a medic dropping out with a frown on her face. "Where is the poisoned man?" the Asari asked, removing an emergency kit from her side- An Epi-Pen. Sarah pointed over at Gestran. The Asari looked to the muffins, then to the man and the vomit all over the Quarian. She rubs her hairless brow, stepped over and jabbed him hard in the side of the neck with the needle. "You're going to need to come with us, sir, your stomach and gastrointestinal system will need to be pumped and you'll need a night's observation before you're properly released."

The hovervan came to a very low hover in the courtyard, the Elcor driver taking up a remarkable amount of space in the front of it.

Well, she didn't mean to regurgitate back at someone.

She turned to the hanar, who seemed to be the most knowledable of the current situation. "Anything I can do to help?"

This was not good. The last thing she needed running for office was an accusation of poisoning a human.

The situation seems in hand, she notes as the man vomits. They need a doctor now, not a sniper, and it's best if she distances herself from the idiot who doesn't know how to read a food label.

She presses a button on her omnitool. By the time she's said her hasty goodbyes, her hovertruck has arrived to pick her up.

I apologize for any offense but after all the serious I needed to do something plain stupid and silly.

Sarah stood on a chair again after a moment. She cleared her throat and briefly clapped her hands. "Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I think that's ..about it for this meetup. One emergency health scare is enough for me! Thanks for coming by- We'll get this going every year around this time. Please take plates of food if you're interested in them and get home safely!"

"Right, fuck this, I'm done."

Kenec barely contained his anger. And his overwhelming need to kick the man in the teeth. And to clean himself off.

Fucking hell, why did this have to happen? Fucking germs and vomit and unclean human filth and ghhhhhhhhagh.

"You all have fun with that moron, I'm going to not be here while you all do that." Kenec turned about face and left, one of his eyes twitching and his movements stiff. This was honestly quite terrifying. All those germs, all that undigested food, all of that... no. Just no.

Fuck, were the seals alright? Did anything come loose and he didn't notice? He was not going to slip into a fucking coma again because of some idiot's vomit.

Door, meet Kenec. Kenec, meet door.

So CDN was finally back. It was hard to believe that it had been almost a year since she'd interacted with its people- Najhil notwithstanding, of course. The raloi had proved to be a great roommate, and an even better friend. Even though most of the people Naaya had somehow managed to collect for her 'rescue operation' had drifted away, Najhil stayed by her side.

The park itself wasn't hard to get to- the Citadel itself, on the other hand, was a different matter. Naaya had to dip into her meager savings account she'd set up after having worked odd jobs for many years, but it was worth it to be able to see all her friends again. This was the opinion she had shortly before she arrived at the actual meetup.

Now that both of them had reached the Presidium and were coming up on the park, Naaya heads towards the party, keeping a look out for Kenec and the others. What she sees makes her shoulders slump. Her eye twitches ever so slightly beneath her visor.

The quarian makes her way towards the people clustered around the medics and those with projectile vomit on them. She stops, staring at those gathered. "Excuse me, I'm looking for the Cerberus Daily News gathering. I think this one is actually a kind of traveling circus and if that's the case I'll be on my way."

Naaya
The drell let out a small sigh, shaking his head. "I think we should just let the ambulance take him." He replied to the woman's inquiry, stepping back so that he did not get in the way. "They actually know what they're doing." He glanced back to Emaleus, who waved goodbye to the ones leaving, apparently oblivious to the fact that the party was called off only after a few minutes of their own arrival. Oh well. "Emaleus, maybe we should return to work now."

"Aww...." Was the hanar's response, though when he saw the quarian arriving, Emaleus turned to look at her and raised a tentacle in greeting."This is the CDN gathering, however it seems that it is ending prematurely."

Kenec froze midstep and turned around. That... voice.

He turned around and made his way back to the party, still covered in drying vomit (AHGHHHHHHH) and his body language showing that he's just a miserable wreck right now. He adjusts his shawl with his right hand, making sure to cover up his left arm stump before he cleared his throat. "Naaya," he said, clearing his throat softly "Is... is that you?"

If it were another exile besides she and Arbit, he wouldn't have been remotely happy to see another quarian. Granted, Naaya was an exile, but... she was always nice to him. "It's me. Kenec'Getha." For once, his voice didn't carry the slight disdain and nervousness it had during any conversation he had with someone. Besides Arbit, of course.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, this is fucking awful. I look like even more of a tool now

Gestran was whisked away by the Asari medic and the elcor driver. The siren blared and the vehicle was off. Sarah, sitting at a table, buried her face in her hands in shame, pulling at her face after a moment to look at the remaining guests at the party. "Sorry, folks!"

"Did I come at a bad time?" Marcus asked, not the least bit surprised that a 'CDN picnic' was accompanied by the presence of emergency vehicles. He was, however, genuinely surprised at the lack of cops. He'd made a point of showing up 'out of nowhere' and looking ready to return hence at a moment's notice. The only way anyone might have recognized him were by his voice, color choices for his clothes, or his gait. Although he didn't seem to be wearing a mask, he'd replaced his typical business/military attire with jeans and a hoodie that did a remarkable job of shadowing his face. The pack he was carrying completed the image of a jock from some unnamed university. "If so I'm terribly sorry. Work pays but still demands it be done."

OutsideTheWall Kenec froze midstep and turned around. That... voice.

He turned around and made his way back to the party, still covered in drying vomit (AHGHHHHHHH) and his body language showing that he's just a miserable wreck right now. Naaya turns to face Kenec and cocks her head, a look of realization dawning on her face. "Kenec?" The quarian looked different, but she recognized the voice. "Yeah, it is you! I sound like a broken record saying this to people, but I'm glad you're alright! I didn't know if you'd been lost in the war."

She turns to leave, beckoning Kenec to follow, and signalling Najhil to follow suit. "Maybe we should get out of here before things get even worse? Somehow?"

Naaya
The hanar floated over to Sarah, patting her lightly on the shoulder in what it hoped was a kindly way. "Do not be sorry, it is not your fault." it flashed out, though the voice modulator had a flat tone, so it kinda ruined what it was trying to do. "Perhaps the event can still be salvaged? Just continue as if nothing happened?"

Really, it was just trying to avoid going back to work, and Beleus, standing a little ways away from where the puke had splattered, noticed. The drell shot Emaleus a stern frown, but apparently the floating jelly did not notice.

Emaleus
"Please. I... I just want to sit down and... clean up, please." Kenec sounded about as desperate as he looked. Muscle entrophy having gotten rid of a good deal of his muscle, the war taking an arm before that, and clearly something making him a nervous wreck... well, he looked like something of a parody of the stereotypical downtrodden quarian.

He spat at the thought. "...wait, Najhil?" Alarm bells rang out in Kenec's mind, looking around frantically. He knew very well what happened the last time he saw Najhil, and he could only imagine a war and a year to be bitter wouldn't do much for the raloi's opinion of him - deserved as it was. "Oh Keelah."

It almost looked like he was about to bolt off again.

Rupert walked into the meeting point, balancing about eight boxes of pizza on one hand and holding bags with drinks in the other. He could barely see where he was going, so if anyone were to get in his way, he might fall over them.

Late comer... okay seriously?

"Maybe it is salvageable." She turned to the Hanar, blue eyes widened a bit. She checked her omnitool. An alerted message beeped, and a particular wife of a particular former Cerberus agent wandered back into the courtyard moments later, her hair tied back in a tail. "Okay- Someone expelled." The woman observed, noting the puke on the ground.

For a long moment, Vohk just stared at the unfolding calamity, before noticing, with all the noise, Delia had woken up, and was not pleased with the interruption to her nap.

"Alright, come here little lady."

Vohk picked up his daughter, and tried gently rocking her while whispering soothing nonsense in the hope of calming her down.

If he survives, I'm going to have a long talk with him about basic knowledge of alien culinary.

Vohk walked over to where his wife and Sarah were.

Beleus continued to glare at his employer for a few more minutes, before he sighed, and turned over to the newcomer with the pizzas. Rather than walk right in front of him, the cerulean drell headed over to the human's side, walking beside him."Here, let me help you with those. I don't think you can see where you're going." He offered, hoping he didn't startle the man.

Emaleus
"What are you talking about? I'm fi-" Well, considering Rupert actually couldn't see where he was going, his foot hit the puddle of disgusting that was on the ground and slid forward, causing the pizzas to go flying up into the air. With a quick tuck and roll, Rupert was on his feet again, and managed to catch four of the pies as they fell.... the others were still somewhat in the air.

"Bloody hell, never used this to stop Pizza before but....hrrgh!" A blue aura formed around the human as he thrust out his left hand, and a bubble-like barrier spread from a point, freezing three of the pizzas mid-air.

"Someone catch the last one!"
