Hanar can be confusing sometimes, sure. But usually they're easy enough to understand until they start busting out the enkindler stuff. They aren't stupid, however, and Reena's meaning was pretty clear, I feel. It does seem like a somewhat deliberate screen.
That being said, this one will Vote Kahje Until proven otherwise. Titan Corporation, Myrmidon Security Services |

This one apologizes for any confusion and irritation it may have unintentionally caused.. It will do it's best to not do so again.
It is unfortunate that the other's think this one is a scum, but this one can only blame itself. Might this one perhaps do anything to ease the other's worries? |

Sorry, double-post.

Don't all chime in at once, now.
At this point, Kahje, you're really the best target. I'd say that if nothing changes by tomorrow... I would suggest a roleclaim. I don't want one right now. Though you're welcome to if you wish. You do only have three votes on you. Or is it four? (I haven't gone back to count) I have a couple on me myself. |
Jeral the Improbable Here I am. Just being awesome. |

Vesh is out through the weekend so a prod might not happen. I'm operating under the assumption we'll either lose Triskele or get a replacement once the day phase is over.
And where is everyone else for that matter? It's too quiet. Pretty fucking spooky huh? |
Epsilon |
Or maybe everyone has some of their own work to do. I've been busy all day trying to pick out some supplies to bring back to Tuchanka.
In any case, I think we may as well ignore Triskele's lack of posting for now. Either he ends up posting later, in which he might end up acting suspicious or he won't and he'll be kicked out from the game. Kahje, do you have anything for us? Any thoughts that might take you out of the spotlight right now?

I'll be a bit quiet tomorrow too because the manager at work put me on sunday as well as today.
|
Hammerhead |
I don't necessarily think anything is odd about the quiet at the moment.
Asharia came out aggressively, I was sarcastic, Magus was a dick, we wasted an entire page explaining a basic logic comment to someone, Jeral attempted to get people to think intelligently, no one save possibly Asharia responded to any of his points, and now we're waiting on the couple suspect people and one absentee player to defend or chime in. Seems pretty standard for a 0-information Day 1. Follows the script exactly. Titan Corporation, Myrmidon Security Services |

While not unusual, it still is annoying. The only way to get any information on day one? If people are active.
|
Hammerhead |
Not saying it isn't annoying but there's always a few who want to stay active and then everyone else disappears once they've made their decision, or decided they won't make one today. Where's that other asari? The excitable one?
The whole 'Protecting myself by being friendly? Am I doing it on purpose? oooOOooo' thing. Probably just a new person spazzin' out, but potentially worth looking into should whoever we grab today turn out a poor choice. Then again it's day 1. Not a lot of 'good' (that means in this case a well-educated guess backed by patterns and evidence, Kahje) candidates. Titan Corporation, Myrmidon Security Services |

This one will admit, its initial lack of loic was a poorly planned-out ploy to try to draw information from someone. It had realized that it always seemed to follow the same tactic of being on the fence and acting courteous in order to keep others from being suspicious of it, and it wanted to.. be more helpful, it supposes. So it picked someone and came up with the most convoluted excuse it could think of, and it does admit that it's plan backfired spectacularly. In trying to be helpful to it's fellow town players, it proved more of a detriment, and it apologizes.
If given another chance, this one will promise to do better the next day, and it perhaps suggests that we rather lynch someone who has not spoken, or has spoken only once since the beginning of this game days ago such as Triskele or Icarus, since it appears that our deadline is approaching. This one would like to Vote Triskele As for any hunches, it does believe that perhaps the one known as Asharia is good, in this sense that she is of the Town team and not a scum. This one also would like the believe the same of Epsilon.

Edited to make the Vote more noticeable.

It's a little early for assuming who is sentient or not. Your continued explanation is good thing though I suppose. Icarus does tend to be rather quiet, though I'd like to hear from perky asari as well. I believe our dear gm and triskele are indisposed, so action on the GM's part, and commenting by triskele are probably not going to happen, so maybe voting triskele today may be preemptive.
Icarus and perky asari, any thoughts before the room settles back into complacent silence? Titan Corporation, Myrmidon Security Services |

Well, this is lovely. Nice to know one can count on consistency, even after some substantial amount of time passing since the last time I have played with you all.
You will forgive my absence, I hope - I found myself unexpectedly without access to the extranet while this game started. Work, as I am sure many of you can understand, can be impossibly demanding at times, but, rest assured, all is well and I will be showing my apparently nondescript face more often. I do not exactly have a read on anyone in particular yet, as I have only skimmed this thread since my return, but as the only strike against me has been my unavoidable silence, I do hope that this post serves as a 'defense' against the accusations. May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten.

Hookay. So, seriously, sorry about disappearing. I moved last weekend, and the place is wired (hence why my post in the absense thread only said 16th-17th) - but it was missing a component adapter of some sort (there was technobabble that went over my head), so unfortunately, I was stuck with literally zero ability to log on for the week, as I have no idea where there's a wireless hotspot anywhere around here.
I have learned something, however: moving sucks. Again, sorry. :( |
Hammerhead |
And I'm proven wrong almost immediately, it seems. Good that you've chimed in, at least. Still no comments from Ic or ADHD Asari yet? For shame. Even the terminally absent Triskele has shown up to defend herself a bit.

But I was analysing spectra! :(
Aaaanyway, I've had another read through and I do kind of suspect KahjeForEternity... but I don't think it'd be fair for me to vote on just having a bad feeling. At least not on day 1. Also, Ash: where are you getting "half+1" from? That isn't the rule this time: Vesh wroteThe player with the greatest number of votes against them at the end of the Day will be lynched. Note that this number need not be a majority – if there is only one vote cast at the end of the Day, the person voted against will be lynched. Professor Linya M'Tanis at your service! Wheee! |

I know that it isn't the rule this time. I was actually referencing the fact that we didn't have to worry about someone accidentally hammering. (Which I've done on another site) Currently, I believe Kahje has the most votes. Which means he's going to die.

You did? Maybe I should have another look...
The bit I completely misread, somehowThere's also no majority rule here. No ending the day early due to a misvote that puts someone at half+1.
Er. Oops? I should really get more sleep. >.> Professor Linya M'Tanis at your service! Wheee!

By my count Triskele and Kajhe are tied at 3 votes each, and I believe there is one vote on me and one vote on Ash.
As we are due to end the day tomorrow, if the two in the lead want to make a case as to why they shouldn't be voted on that might be good at this point, otherwise we will have no lynch tomorrow, per the rules regarding a tie. If I don't see a reason to before to bed at the moment I will be inclined to move my vote to Triskele just to get someone up to 4 votes. I still favor Kajhe as the lynch target because he's acting more suspicious to my mind but it would be worse to have no lynch at all.
