Out of curiosity, why are there even alien embassies on Earth when they've historically only ever dealt with the Systems Alliance? Which was based on Arcturus and is now on the Citadel?

After the war things have changed. Everybody is helping everybody at this point. My last trip to Palaven, there was a group of Human Marines at the shuttle station. Also, there were Salarian guys in their ridiculous get-up talking to my boss down here last week. Nobody is at tension anymore, even if i do get a few weird looks here on Earth.

Well it makes sense now that a lot of aliens are on Earth. An embassy/consulate here and there can provide assistance to them in case of trouble. I've heard they're planning an asari embassy in Paris.

Nat, prior to the war the republics for example (and basically all council species) held various consulates in sovereign national states on earth, some with a head that was in an ambassador’s rank. The chambers of commerce connected through them, as well as the alien affairs offices in these countries. Aside from that, a network of planet side consulates is just necessary to give support to the asari living on earth.

The war itself and how SATAE is set up changed a lot of course and now all the consulates are coordinated from the Citadel embassies but it still helps a lot to have a decentralized network of offices although there is none with official embassy state currently.

Quarian cook sounds interesting, I mostly just heard complaints about tasteless nutri pastes. Are you cooking only for quarians or also other things?

Greetings and welcome, Ket'Etel! :) Yes, we supposedly had a yahg for a while (hit on me a couple of times, but then I was hardly the only one), but all sorts of things have supposedly gone on here, I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Count me with Taleeze in curiosity about the cooking - my bondmate cooks for me now and then, and I've always understood it to be quite a rare talent for quarians to come by.

Cooking mostly for others, generally speaking. And I've never had anyone send anything back. So hey, that's compliments to the chef.

This and countless of interesting people with refreshing new opinions to talk to. (Or in some cases to argue with.) It is definitely a worthy experience.
