My brother-in-law fought in the Reaper War and was given honors, but like millions of other veterans, wasn't given the proper post-war psychological treatment and committed suicide. I'm in a group that's main goal is to provide sanctuary for veterans mentally affected by the war and expose any mistreatment of patients from those who claim that they do.

I am sorry for your loss. This sounds interesting and noble, I am familiar with similar cases and groups for asari. Sadly the care was often less than perfect for whatever reasons, so doing something to make it better is a necessary thing.

How are you funded?
This site has often provided good for collecting donations for such causes.

The Hernandez-Kilarjian Project is non-profit and we get our funds mostly from donations. We promote through charity events and double as sponsors for supporters of the group. This could be marathons, film festivals, racing, etc.

Now that you've mentioned it, making a donation pool will provide more awareness. I'll set one up once I know how to control the forum.
