Lupin hefted his patient up and took towards the Kodiak, mumbling reassurances in Khelish as he went.

"There had better be a good reason for this." He grumbled as he made it, passing the other quarian inside. He hopped in after his patient, and went to check on the other two, running diagnostics on the envirosuits.

"Subject slid into nearby ravine. Unsure of what lay below; landing may have been... Unpleasant. Pursue and ascertain condition?"Gallik asked, adjusting his goggles and other gear. "Or fall back and await Freezer interdiction?" they should probably be gone before the natives got here, he thought, but that wasd up to the templar commander.

Titus gave a grunt as he heaved the other quarian on his shoulders, and began walking to wards the Kodiak. He slowly lowered the quarian in, trying not to drop him as he slid down the turians shoulders.

"Will they make it?" The question was directed towards Lupin, as he seemed to be the only person with an understanding of quarian health.
"And what about those bodies? Do we need to do some sort of death ritual, or something?"

"If these were pirates or smugglers I can care less what we do with the bodies. Just keep scavengers from picking them apart. If they have anyone left on Rannoch they can decide what to do." Lupin replied. "I'm an engineer. Not a holy man or a doctor. Best I can do is monitor their vital signs and throw medigel at it until we get doctors." He said, moving on to cover another suit tear with omni gel.

The pain was white hot when Snow collided with the rocks, a popping sound reaching his ears while he tumbled off the outcropping, falling into the snow. Then the throbbing began, overpowering the adrenaline high that had sustained him. Groaning as he staggered to his feet, the ice and his namesake covered him, making him shiver even more. Despite the cut on his eyebrow, and his now useless right arm, Snow began to make his way through the ravine at a much slower pace, looking up at where he fell, an amusing thought came to mind as he rounded the bend...

"Crown jewel of the galaxy huh?" A bitter chuckle escaped his lips as he limped on...

Helena, who'd come along to make sure that Frosty hadn't deviated from his course, knelt down beside Lupin as they checked on the wounded quarians.

"In any case, we don't exactly have to time or space to transport a few corpses. We need to get these ones out of here. Frosty, get us in the air."

She looked at Lupin and the others, her green eyes questioning.

"You're either staying or going, decide right now."

"Staying. I'll probably just get in the way. Keelah Se'lai" he muttered to her, before hopping out of the Kodiak. "Right, so, what next?" he panted, turning to the human.

Trixina trained her binoculars on the crash site, a good 4 km away from where the templars and whoever else was there were having their fun. She was in full Nartin huntress gear, lying on top of a small knoll with a white blanket that served as both visual and thermal camoflage. Her fireteam was lying there with her, the elite of their little outfit. The rest of them were some distance behind them on the road setting up a few surpises. Just in case.

"Arright, I'm goan head back to the road and wait for these guys there, keep me posted on their position." "Make sure that Jeleri and her girls gets there without bein' seen."

Almost completely unnoticeably she slid away from the OP, making her way back towards the road, seemingly unhindered by her grenade launcher.

"We're abouts to give these fellers a surprise."

Gestran ran along the top of the ravine, keeping the runner in sight.

"yeah, he definitly felt that one. wherever he's going, he's not going to get far."

Keeping to the left, he saw the runner head into a bend, right towards Neil and Jaeto.

"Yeah he's coming right at you Sergeant, do you mind stopping him?"

What's next was a very good question. Things were becoming increasingly complicated, but first he might as well get one problem out of the way.

"Get them out of here Frosty. Straight to the Medcenter, without delay."

He ordered the pilot, and had enough time to meet his wife's gaze, before the Kodiak began its ascent, leaving then beside the wreckage.

Vohk considered his options quickly. He wasn't sure what the deal was with the asari coming here, or even how much of a problem it really was. At worst, he was expecting a group drawn in by morbid curiosity of the fallen ship.

No, his priorities were to secure the crash site, since they could not leave all this eezo without some kind of security. That, and there was the runner. Vohk was not willing to let a man who was likely a criminal free to his own devices, even if he was stupid enough to run off into the snow by himself, injured, and likely no real idea of where he was.

"Ok, Neil, Gestran, I want you, and the Sergeant and the Ops Chief keep in pursuit. We can't afford to let a criminal, even a wounded one, free, not so close to the refuge site. Remember TERF orders still apply, so you can't shoot the dumbass, even if he deserves it. If he's still running, use either the microwave emitter or your OT's stun application to knock him out.

"The rest of you, lets see what we can do about securing this eezo. We've got two hours before the asari military shows up to take jurisdiction over the area, so lets make sure its not leaking anywhere."

Vohk glanced over at where the asari group was supposedly making its way over here. With a long suffering sigh, he got into the driver seat of his truck.

"In the meantime, I'm going to see what the fuss is about with the asari making their way over here. I'll be back in a few minutes."

Vohk said, before turning the ignition, hoping that it wouldn't take too long to convince whoever they were to go back to their homes. These were his thoughts as he drove, alone, towards where Frosty had indicated their presence.

non-lethal biotics are allowed, nothing that sends you flying though

Each breath a struggle as the salvager tried to navigate the ravine, his pursuers close behind no doubt. Julian Snow, disgraced Marine turned wildcat junkman was back at the beginning, hurt, alone, and without a prayer, but the familiarity with desperate situations kept him going.

"Never thought it would be here of all places", a bitter smile creasing his lips, making him look younger than his twenty one years, if one ignored his vacant dark-grey eyes. Turning left at the fork, he decided to go deeper into the ravine, hoping for a respite from the wind, the cold already starting to fade, making Snow feel light and safe, the first signs of hypothermia ironically as he ducked under a rock formation, hoping that if he didn't make it out, the end would be swift...

I apologize for the absence, been very busy. I just want to make one thing clear. If you need to move Neil around and I'm not here to control him, then I give permission to Vohk or anyone else with Neil to move him around. But, don't make him go into combat or have a bomb explode in front of him without me around. I'll put up a post in a minute.

"You got it sir!" He replied back at Vohk. His engines roared as he started tracking the runner with his truck along the top of the ravine.

"Gallick, Gestran! Do you see any path where we can cut this guy off with the truck? Or do we we have to pursue this asshole on foot?"

The sergeant waited for the truck to approach the ravine, and then hopped out of the moving vehicle, biotic flare slowing his momentum as he landed, looking after the truck as it sped off.

"Will follow on foot, Neil. Truck should be able to reach floor of ravine using this route!"
His OT forwarded a topographical hologram with the route to Neil's. "If his fall ended as unfortunately as it could have, we will need the truck close by!"

With that the bundled salarian took off down the ravine, biotics flaring up to slow his slide and avoid the rocky outcrops that had marred the runner's descent.

After Snow fell into the ravine, Everett ran up to the upper edge of the slope. He caught sight of the salvager once more, who was now limping and holding his useless arm. The Ops Chief had to wince.

"Jesus...target's in the ravine. Looks like he had a nasty fall," Everett reported. Once he heard Vohk's order, he nodded and began to search for a safer way down. "Solid copy." He soon found a much less hazardous route into the valley, but this allowed Snow to pull ahead a bit, despite his sluggish pace. Everett began to advance through the Valley at a brisk pace, hoping to spot the persistent bastard once more.

The walls of the ravine were growing larger in Snow's mind, rising ominously above him as descended further. Further complimenting his distress, the northern winds had picked up, creating an sound akin to a soft moan. Limping on, Snow looked back to see any sign of his pursuers, or anyone else, but it was just him amid the towering walls in this hellish region. The salvager paused to pull on his hood, attempting to compliment his watchcap, but hampering his peripheral vision also.

"Like it fucking matters in this maze", he thought as he staggered on, his clothes torn, soaked and covered in mud, adding to his discomfort and fatalistic attitude, "I hope the fuckers choke on the eezo they found."

When he reached the bottom of the ravine, Gallik scanned the ground for the indent Snow's fall had made, and finding it, set out at a cautious jog in the directions of the footprints.

"Found his trail, following into ravine. Can't have gotten far, tracks indicate injury."

His OT at the ready, he ventured into the ravine, in pursuit of the runner.

"Understood Gallick. I'm going to keep following this path and see if I can cut him off from the other side. Let me know whenever you need me to head down into the ravine with ya." Neil stepped on the gas pedal slightly and he picked up his pace.
