The former basically entails trying to expel something that's been growing inside you for months through an opening you were convinced couldn't accommodate an object as bulky as a baby daughter, using muscles which don't often get a lot of exercise. You don't get painkillers for childbirth? Not if you opt for a natural birth, as I did. Prof. Matr. Mirala T'Narf, currently trying not to attract supplicants from various causes. It's not working. |

Where I'm from we have a saying about that : "It's a natural childbirth as long as it doesn't pop out from a nostril" Leaving the Ducts offer a training, support and professional opportunities to all Citadel Orphans. We're based on Tayseri Wards, ask me information! Donations are much appreciated. |

I'd have to say losing my arm back on Earth, way back in the beginning of the war. It was crushed by rubble and I didn't get any real medical attention until our shuttle arrived on the Citadel, just some medi-gel to stop the bleeding. They ended up having to amputate it, and I have a cybernetic replacement for it now. Using biotics with it is a little easier than my normal arm and I can punch stuff pretty hard with it now. But there are these odd times I get...pains from it, even though I can't really feel it anymore.

I was in a nasty aircar collision on Illium about a year and a half ago. Got my face smashed up, lost an eye, broke my arm, and had all kinds of cuts and bruises. Got a cybernetic eye now, and various metal bits holding my face and arm together.

My leg was crushed by debrie in the attack on Earth. I lost the leg, and due to war time shortages I have a mechanical replacement, not a cybernetic. It functions via muscular movement in my hips and back. It's hard having to learn how to walk all over again.

This one was once hit by some falling debris... It may not sound like much, but for this one it was quite painful. Otherwise, it seems to have been able to avoid most physical harm through being very careful.

Well you are quite lucky. This one is curious, were you pinned down at all? This one was trapped for a period of time unable to move while destruction rained around. This one was quite terrified. This one is sorry if it sounds patronizing, as it is attempting to use proper Hanar manner's in addressing that one, and is unsure of how well it did. This one was quite terrified. This one is sorry if it sounds patronizing, as it is attempting to use proper Hanar manner's in addressing that one, and is unsure of how well it did. If the other is not of Hanar origin, there is no reason for the other to attempt to copy this one's speech patterns. These speak in such a manner, as we believe it to be egotistical and rude to refer to themselves in the first person. However, it has learned to give pardons to other species, as others do not share the same culture as it. This one was luckily not seriously harmed, just a bit of a cut that it was able to get healed with omni-gel, nor was it trapped. The debris that struck it was relatively small. |
