Chris was already on the move- Moving to catch the flying pizza box as it landed. She pumped a fist, setting it down on the table.
"Careful with gravity, it bites in the arse every now and then." She mumbled, running a hand through her hair. Sarah rest a tired temple against her fist, looking over at the approaching Vohk and the baby.

The drell watched the slip, letting out a small sigh of exasperation before he stepped over to the human, holding out his hands to take the boxes that he managed to catch so that the other could focus on keeping the three airborne. "...You might want to clean yourself up afterwards. You slipped in...er... vomit." Beleus explained, feeling a little bad about not warning the man.

At this point, Emaleus floated over to the situation, and looked over to Chris. "Are there any cleaning supplies that we can use to take care of the mess?" it inquired curiously.

The woman put her hands on her hips. "Hardly worried about it, let the Keepers deal with it, hm? We're only renting the place, and I've an hour and a half of cleaning up all this uneaten food."

Najhil had told Naaya it was a bad idea to come. They couldn't afford trips to the Citadel, especially to see CDN people, as meetings between them always ended badly. And now was obviously no exception. Not only did they find themselves in the middle of what appeared to be a disaster area, but Kenec of all people was joining them to wherever Naaya was leaving them.

As civilly as she could muster, she nodded at the vomit-encrusted quarian and curtly said, "Hello."

"This one is merely worried about a repeat incident. It is not exactly in an out of the way place, after all." The hanar replied, before making some odd bobbling gesture, which could've been a shrug for another species. "Although, it supposes that a simple warning sign might suffice, or the mindfulness of the people here."

Vohk looked at Chris and the others and sighed.

"I'd like to apologize on behalf of my employee. I'm sure Gestran would himself if he could. As for this food...well if no one is going to eat it, I can have it delivered to people who haven't had a decent meal like this in a while..."

Vohk looked at the rancid mess on the floor.

"Provided they're all untainted."

"Getting slow lately..." Marcus muttered as he unshouldered his bag and set it on the table next to the last pizza box. Opening it, he revealed that its contents were a variety of beverages, all soft drinks and juices, for either chirality. None of them were alcoholic. He set out the bottles and also a stack of disposable party cups that he'd brought. Unzipping the next pocket, he revealed a pack of highly absorbent napkins and laid those out as well. His face remained a silhouette. "So poverty and minor catastrophes aside, how is every one doing?"

Chris gave a nod. "They're untainted, all freshly made earlier today." She shot him a frown. "Why-" She was grabbed around the waist and pulled over by Sarah, who explained into her ear. "Oh. Right. Just.. they're muffins. They can't exactly stop a man from eating them- The tables and trays were labeled. You can donate the food to whomever needs it, mate." She gave him a thumbs up, then was yanked into a hug, despite protests.

"Ha." That was Titus' only response to what he had witnessed.

Titus turned to Marcus.
"Why d'you have so much shit in that bag?" He asked, fully expecting him to produce a gun.

Kenec looked down at the raloi. It was almost comical of how frightened he looked behind his mask. Despite having at least fifteen inches on the raloi, he knew very well what she wanted to do to him with those claws.

He should have just stayed home today.

"...hey." He said rather meekly. Looking at Naaya in an attempt to not stare into Najhil's furious bird eyes, he cleared his throat softly. "Let's... head to my place. I'm a bit uncomfortable here."

Kenec didn't even wait for a response before heading out.

Helena, who had miraculously remained unspewed upon, took Delia.

"That's not a bad idea. The refugee center in Tayseri could definitely use something like this."

She said absently as she was checking on the infant

Rupert calmly walked over to the table and placed the four boxes down before going to grab the stasised pizza boxes from the air.

"I take it I'm fairly late if there's already someone.... well..." He lifted his shoe and shuddered. "Please tell me there's a hose nearby."

"There should be. We are in a park, after all." The drell replied before shrugging and glancing over to Emaleus, who had by now floated off to examine the gardens. "I'm sure you'll be able to find one if you look hard enough."

Emaleus
"Because we're at a party/picnic type thing, and I'm one to prefer to contribute where I'm present." Marcus replied calmly, otherwise not really acknowledging Titus. Considering he'd been fired from Titan, the human looked to be in pretty good shape, being both alive and still well enough in business to have enough time and money for an outing like this. "That being the case, a more appropriate question would be why didn't you bring anything, mooch?"

The animosity he had toward Titus was clearly still present, but there was something absent from it. Where normally there was a spark of mutual threat from them even standing this close to each other, now it was like Marcus wasn't even there.

Chris whispered into the blonde's ear. Sarah slowly stood, rubbing her brow and yawning. She gave Vohk and then Muck a hug.
"I think the two of us are about to hit the trail. You can call me-" She activated her omnitool, transferring contact information to the two. "If you ever need anything or want to go get some drinks." She smirked. Arm-in-arm, Sarah and Chris left the park, heading off to a parked hovercar.

"What the fuck are you saying? I don't make as much money as you? I can't afford to provide for myself?"
Titus took a step towards Marcus.
"What are you trying to say to me?"

... Perfect. He'd been in the presence of these people for 5 minutes, and he was already at someone's throat. Still, he wasn't going to throw a punch, even if Marcus did, which he doubted the other man would do.

"You're awfully defensive. Relax, I'm not here to pick a fight." The human replied as he stooped to look around for ice or a cooler. Still no hostility, or even sarcasm or condescension in his voice. It became more apparent that this man only sounded like the asshole Titus knew from their old job.

A bearded man in his mid-thirties in Alliance BDUs approached. He had a stern look which seemed almost permanently set, and a graft above one eye indicated a wound had once been there, repaired in recent months by weaves. Seeing the meeting he stopped for a moment, in consideration. Surveying the crowd (he didn't think he knew anyone except perhaps the raloi, whom he met back in the Citadel Coup - and maybe he met the quarian since one was with her then too) he then approached. Crossing his arms, he spoke in an unmistakably Polish accent, and said "I was already going to be on the Citadel so I thought I'd stop by for a few moments. Stefan Urbanski."

It all seemed like a blur to him, the things happening, Gestran puking up, ambulance coming to fetch him. Must have been the booze getting up to Juhani's head. Might be a good call to sit down.

To the new arrivals, he lifts his glass every time someone comes up and has a sip from it. Juhani ends up emptying his glass and has to go retrieve another. But Najhil, she gets a special greeting.

"Hey Najhil. You're a pretty sight for sore eyes. I'm glad you lived through the war." he pats the raloi friendly on the shoulder.

The sudden greeting from Juhani gave Najhil just the start she needed to snap her out of the simmering anger she had been feeling. "Oh, hi! Juhani scared Najhil for a second. How has Juhani been..."

Suddenly, she remembered reading what had happened to him and couldn't help but empathize (and shoot a quick glare at the one-armed quarian rushing away). Before returning her gaze to Juhani, she called back to Naaya and Kenec, "Najhil will catch up in a minute!" And proceeded to give the poor man what she considered a much-needed hug.

"Najhil is so sorry to hear what happened between Juhani and Vee."
