Private Message to EmileOBAgain: Visa's still got a few months on it...and I still haven't decided whether to reaply for a work visa and make the citizenship back on Earth. Papa's in Montreal, so I could do that. Or maybe Terra Nova, I was there so fraking much before the war..I dunno. Point is, I'll let you fill out half the paperwork when I figure out where I want to be a citizen.

I'm on a ship right now, cruising to Demeter, so no meetings in the Southern UNAS. Though, crisse, I don't blame you...those poor kids.

Anyway. Yeah. Connected. That's one way of putting it - if mum were still alive, she'd probably tease me and tell me I was in love with the kid. Which...I don't know. I asked the staff to keep an extra eye on her, so I get updates on how she's doing with things. I feel proud of her when they tell me she's learned something new, upset with her when I find out she's been getting into trouble...and, I don't know. They sent me this yesterday - look for yourself, she's adorable.

I dragged Papa with me on my last visit - he raised a biotic kid, and the volunteers and staff need all the help they can get. He adores her. He's never once asked for grandkids, but watching him with the little ones...mrrg. He's getting better, at least, with the drinking...I have a neighbor looking after him.

And no, you aren't helping. You're supposed to be talking me out of this. You're supposed to be telling me that I'm crazy, because I don't have formal citizenship, because I work like a dog, because I'm too busy making sure my alcoholic father stays sober and that I still need to figure out what I feel about Mike and everything that my life is, with the partying and the clubbing and everything is a very very very good reason to not have a kid in my life.

And I've been meaning to replace some of the junk I have in my apartment anyway.

My face was originally pretty messed up by the helmet fracturing and the bullet fragmentation- It had grown to a nasty scar (you'll notice my face is remarkably different in the old site than it is now.) I had to have major reconstructive surgery, a few bone and facial muscle grafts and even occular implants to help regain eyesight in my eye that was damaged in the injury.

As such, I have a new face.

I don't think I'm going to Omega again anytime soon, with the incoming baby and my job on the Citadel, but if I suppose the offer is two-way- If you ever find yourself on the Citadel, I owe it to you for a good dinner and a few drinks worth of catching up. :)

Private Message to VigilantVanguardI can defenitely do food catering, although it'll be rather focused on the baked goods side of things. On the plus side, I can cater for dextro as well as levo foods now. :)

Overall, I'm thinking more a buffet style, unless I can do day hires for serving. I've gotten an employee, but just the two of us would be mostly focused on cooking, I think.

I don't think I can do it pro bono, unfortunately, but I can offer some fairly reasonable rates. :)

((Incidentally, do you have that apartment lined up, or are you still looking?))
