Huh. Maybe fate really is a thing.

I don't know what to think, really. I believed this site to be a casualty of the war. I just can't believe it. Thinking about my life three years ago, it seems almost alien now. Meeting and getting to know the people on this site changed it in so many ways... and here it is again. So many of its original members are still alive, too. No matter what I do or where I go, it just keeps coming back to me.

Well, hell, let it. I'm still alive, somehow... I'm seeing a bunch of new faces around here, too. Guess an introduction's in order; I'm Operations Chief Everett Maliszewski, Systems Alliance. I'm looking forward to spending time with you all again. It should be interesting to see where this takes me next.

Naaya Still searching.
Everett! I'm glad you're okay, I was worried something might have happened to you. Things aren't exactly 'back to normal'- I don't think they ever will be, but it's relatively peaceful for now. I think I could get used to that.

I'm living on Earth with Najhil right now, but let me know if you're ever near Earth or the Citadel- we should catch up in person sometime.

Good to see you again Everett. Nice to see you're holding up well still.

Maliszewski, good to see that you survived the war. Since the Relays are up now, I hope that we can see each other again someday. Especially since the last time I heard from you and T'Narf was a little after the coup.

...Kirse?

Well. It's really been a year now, hasn't it? I never thought I'd see you again. I'm gonna be honest with you, knowing you're alive makes me the happiest I've been in a while. I really hope we can meet again soon.

Kage, good to see you. Is AEGIS still up and running? I heard about you guys and Veratix... heard it was hell.

Naaya, I'm glad you're still alive. Honestly, I'm not too surprised that you're on Earth. You always seemed to have a real liking for our homeworld. Well, what's left of it.

Garden Guard...I don't recognize you. You new around here? Thanks for the welcome, anyway.

And RTB... well, this is a big surprise. After your past experience with Cerberus, I didn't know if you'd even make it through the war. Well, good to know that you're on our side now.

Hey Everett, glad to hear from you again.
Haven't heared much about the rest of Iron Cobra after we won.
Nice to have you back and gratulations to your promotion (that is a promotion, is it?), you earned it.

So, what are you doing, riding a desk, or back in action?

Nah, Just a new username, mainly to celebrate the fact I'm home. Still the one and only Eril I know.

Well, god damn. It's good to see you again, Schmidt. You may have been a bit of a loose cannon, but you were our loose cannon. I'm still serving, and no, I'm no pencil pusher. I've been busy.

So, Schmidt Solutions, huh? You decided to go the private route? How's that working out for ya?

Eril? Well, holy shit. This day just keeps getting better. So, you're spending the rest of your days on Rannoch? I'm sure it must be great there... I've been wanting to visit someday.

Everett. Good to see you're alive and well. (Kalya, I changed screen names)

Surprising to find this all in place again, isn't it?

For the most part, lost our flagship during that scuffle along with a lot of good men. Trying to see if we can start recruiting soon.

If your work takes you to Tuchanka, Maliszweski, let me know. I don't think I can make a trip myself to the Citadel with how much I earn.

...Maybe I should take a job at Thaig's new bar as well.

It pays the bills and I can afford to hire an employee.
Denakot has the advantage of its consumer base. Still, I have to figure out how to get rich with that yet.
If you manage to get around, there is rabate for active military, law enforcement and veterans (applies to C-Space military and law enforcement only).

Haven't been planetside for too long, since we only got back here recently. Haven't left the marines though, but we are on leave for a bit, taking the time to acclimate.

Also, as an aside, relay waiting times are a [REDACTED]. I don't know how long it took for us to get clearance to get through the relays, but it was an ancestors-dammed while...

It's Kalya, Everett.

Um, pretty good. Things have been fine. I haven't really done much since leaving...mostly helping rebuild on earth and the Citadel.

Welcome back, Everett. I don't know about fate, though, more a galactic level twisted sense of humour.

Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand:
