Sons of the Patriots

It's been just over a year since the Battle of London and scars from the war remain. The city has been carved up into zones and military designations, Alliance vehicles rumble down the streets and there are some people who aren't too happy about that.

So they're going to do something about it.

While a peaceful protest group exists, some are too frustrated or angry to be content with blockading outposts and waving signs. A lot of these people were resistance fighters during the war. They fought and bled for their country and now it no longer exists. To them, violence has become a tool.

SATAE on the other hand is doing a job. A hard, thankless job on a ruined planet. Peace is something worth preserving, despite the costs.

There's spots available for both separatists and SATAE loyalists in this arc, even independents. If you want in, just send me a PM on the old site (Nat) with a write-up of your character/explanation for why your character is involved. Character death is possible but with RPer permission.

Primarily it will be based in London, though there will be one or two threads out of London, perhaps more depending on RP choices.

Well I'm more than happy to toss my hat into the ring. I'll need to figure out some way to get PWS off of UR but she's kinda difficult to use when she's so completely isolated from everyone else on the boards anyway.

Hmm. I would really like to get involved, by prior commitments just won't allow it, unless the are ripple effects that could possibly affect other Alliance folks elsewhere.

Sandy managed to sufficiently twist my arm, the bastard, and I've figured out a decent enough handwave + Time whimey, to fulfill all my obligations, so Lode, before you ask, we're still on, so don't worry about it.

Alright folks, I'm hoping to have the first threads up and running in the next couple of weeks. You'll be receiving PMs outlining a general idea of the situation/what your character is aware of in the next few days, so I'd love for you to keep that in mind when posting. Any questions/enquiries/violent objections, shoot them my way.
