I'll kick it off with a minor typo.

Not sure if it's a bug, but the system logged me out while I was working on a somewhat-long post; after submitting, the contents of the post were lost, and could not be recovered via the Back button (thankfully, I had the Lazarus browser plugin). Given that this is an RP forum, an da lot of people tend to make rather lengthy posts, I think this could become a serious problem.

No ETA on the timeout issue.

Just to second what RTB said. Had a big old essay written up, only to have the board tell me I wasn't signed in when I hit post. Unlike RTB, I don't have the plugin. So half an hour's work was lost to the aether. Ah well.

Also, possibly just being an idiot, but am I right in thinking there's no longer a quote button on people's posts? I've noticed the quote button in the post editor, but haven't used it yet. Is that just for quote tags, or does it let you actually pick a post to quote from?

It's already been resolved, but I wanted to note that I had trouble with my account activation.

Anyone else who does should talk to Dippy, as he is awesome and fixed it easily. :) But yeah, not sure if I was the only one.

Okay, I've looked into the timeout issue and it's a mess-up on our side.

When we tested this site we didn't think of doing a time-out test. To fix this will take a little bit of time, my advise for the moment until we fix it is to use a word processing program to write your post and then copy-paste it to the textbox. It's far from the ideal solution, but really it's the only-one I can offer for the moment.

If you have problems with activation please contact me or other people. Their might be some issues with the delivery of the email (which takes a few minutes due to dreamhost's mailserver speed. Just be patient if the mail doesn't arrive immediately.

On the idea of using a word processor, when copy-pasting a post of mine earlier it was replacing quotation marks with other symbols. In the below example, I've inserted them at various points in a standard lorem ipsum, and you can see the result. This is copied/pasted from MSWord 2010, I'm not sure if the same happens from other processors. Editing the post and removing the symbols in favor of quotation marks seems to work, however each time I edit without changing them it's adding more symbols.

First off, thanks for the pagination. Though I've noticed a bug on multipage threads if you click "goto last post" it brings you to a blank screen.

The special characters are a known issue. It'll be fix as soon as possible, probably at the same time as when the time-out problem is fixed.

Note to self: limit size of images in side blurb and signature.

Links don't work. Whenever I click on one, it just reloads the page I'm on.

I've encountered a similar problem, and found a work-around. Inside the [url] tag, make sure that you have "http://" in front of the address. Otherwise, the site parses it as an internal link, and ends up redirecting you back to your current page.

• Fixed the misbehaving [url] tag
• Fixed the special character issue, this will only affect posts from this point forward, post prior to this will stay scrambled. ‘So these “quotes” should work’ And you can even use stuff like this; ☖☗♔♕♖♗♘♙♚♛♜♝♞♟♠♡♢♣♤♥♦♧ in your new posts.
• Made the whole site look a bit more consistent

For some reason OOC comments won't open when I click on them. They show a change (Click to open/Click to close) but it doesn't ever actually show the text.

Edit: It works on Chrome, so I think it may be an issue with Explorer.

Slashes in character can cause problems.

Scandics don't seem to work.

OKAY! letters ä,ö and å don't work in roleplay threads.

A small bug for topics that have the "keep first post at top of page" option checked: Sometimes, the thread's last page is just the first post, with nothing following it. I would hazard a guess that the first post is interpreted as the "next" post, which is enough to bump it over to a new page. Not a huge issue at the moment, but worth investigating later.

Had a bug with a post using text color (something that hadn't happened before using the same color).

No idea what happened but I figured I should bring it to your attention.

Disconnect: it must be an issue with Explorer, as I had the same thing happen to me on my computer at work. Switched to Google Chrome and now the OoC comments are readable at work so long as I use chrome, just as they are via Firefox at home.
