MASS EFFECT 2
Character: Juhani Ragum Class: Engineer Acquirement Prerequisites: Dossier: Archangel or Dossier: The Warlord done Acquirement: The Illusive Man will inform Shepard of a potential ally, although will think very lowly of Juhani over his allegiance to the Hierarchy. Juhani can be found at Dark Star club on the Citadel, where he will be at the bar counter, flirting it up with a turian customer. He won't pay attention unless Shepard has Grunt, Garrus or both present. Juhani will then flirt with either one or with Garrus if both team members are present, much to their bemusement and horror. Shepard can tell he or she needs Juhani's help to save the galaxy, upon which he will join the team on the Normandy. Location on the Normandy: Bar lounge, where Juhani can be seen sampling its wares. Name of Loyalty Mission: Juhani: For the Cause Mission Details: Somewhere after Collector Cruiser has been handled, Juhani will want to talk to Shepard about a personal issue that has come up. His colleague in the Hierarchy Intelligence had gone undercover few years prior into a separatist group, but now she has sent a request for immediate extraction. The Normandy is closest and fastest ship that can respond to it. There's also a catch: Juhani and the Hierarchy operative had a fling before they he went undercover, and understandably Juhani is eager to see her return unharmed. Mission Location: Diluvian Wildlands, Taetrus Mission Outcomes: War on Taetrus is in full swing, and Shepard with Juhani in tow has to weave between separatist and Hierarchy military to find the agent in peril. Juhani manages to identify the mark, Penelia Varunis but group of Facinus insurgents have her in custody, and intend to take her into the interior of Facinus held territories. The mission turns into a race against time. The team is presented with two options: Be a Renegade andplow through the separatist and Hierarchy fighting through the town they're in to reach Facinus faster, or take a Paragon detour and risk letting them escape. Juhani is divided over rescuing Penelia and killing Hierarchy soldiers to get to her, leaving the decision to Shepard. If Garrus is present here, he sympathizes with Juhani but likewise expresses dislike for attacking Hierarchy. Paragon (Loyalty Achieved): The detour has cost too much time. Shepard and co. arrive only to see Penelia Varunis being carted away in a truck, fast away from their reach. A paragon interrupt will make Shepard take a quick shot at the truck, and hit Penelia square in the forehead killing her. She cannot leak anymore intel to Facinus and is spared from a gruesome fate at hands of the enemy. Paragon check is required to convince Juhani it was the right choice, and to motivate him to see beyond an individual. Penelia has died for the Cause, and such is a fitting way to die for the turians. He will grudgingly accept the outcome, but loss of his old flame will haunt him. Renegade (Loyalty Achieved): Cutting a path through Hierarchy and Facinus alike is fast but bloody. If Garrus was present, he will express his extreme displeasure at this choice. The team however makes it to the Facinus extraction truck in time to intercept the separatists. A firefight ensues, leaving just Penelia and the Facinus team leader alive, who is holding her hostage and plans to escape with her. Two interrupts are presented here. First one is renegade and has Shepard shoot the Facinus team leader through Penelia's body. She will survive, but Juhani will be upset at the choice. Second one is paragon, and has Shepard shoot a fuel barrel behind the two. It explodes, killing the Facinus team leader, but his body will protect Penelia from shrapnel. With the mission objective fulfilled, the team is ready to depart. Loyalty Not Achieved: If no interrupts were taken on either path, Facinus will escape with Penelia, subjecting her to interrogations, torture and eventual death as Hierarchy forces draw closer to Facinus strongholds. Juhani will be anguished over her fate and not be able to focus on the suicide mission. Omega 4 Relay: Suitable Job: Tech specialist Escort If the Normandy was not upgraded: Juhani will be incapacitated by his "liquid courage" intake in response to traumatic transit to Collector station. If chosen for Tech Specialist, he will die from heatstroke after completing his task even if loyal. If chosen for escort, loyal Juhani can lead the crew back with losses, and disloyal will die on the way while inebriated. Loyalty Power: Distract: Juhani can steal attention from Shepard and direct enemy fire in his way. Evolves into multi-target distract or super-strong shielding to keep focus longer on him instead of Shep. Unique Loyalty Condition: Juhani, if encouraged, can block Shepard's romance with Garrus by gunning for him. However nothing will come out of it, except cockblocked Shepard. Completing Juhani's loyalty mission through Renegade path will aggravate Garrus for making him kill Hierarchy soldiers. Paragon/Renegade check is needed to keep him loyal. Romance: Is not available for romance by either gender. He'll turn down Shepard by commenting he or she is not really his type say his interests have more plates and scales. Dialogue:On the Normandy, when not flirting unsuccessfully with alien crewmembers, Juhani will crack jokes of questionable quality, tell Shepard about his past mishaps or commend Shepard on his multiracial crew despite being on Cerberus vessel. EDI will remark on his extranet history on the bridge, grossing out Joker. On Illium inside Eternity bar, he'll remark on the wide selection of goods and services available there, with particular focus on krogan escorts...not that he'd ever need to solicit their services that is. On Citadel, Juhani will reminisce about how he worked as an aide at the Human embassy, but he'll stonewall Shepard after being asked how he ended up in Hierarchy's service. On Omega, he'll express disdain at the general lawlessness of the station, but will grudgingly admit people of Omega are more free than Hierarchy citizens. If Legion is recruited, Juhani will try to talk with it out of curiosity. MASS EFFECT 3 Acquirement Prerequisites: Priority: Menae Acquirement: Juhani, if he survived suicide mission is found on Menae alongside Garrus or in his stead if Garrus died behind Omega 4 relay. He can be picked as a team mate instead of James or sent to the Normandy when EDI causes the ship go haywire. He'll ask Shepard if its as bad on Earth as it is on Palaven, and will remark grimly on his homeland's fate. Location on the Normandy:Juhani will assume his regular haunt at the bar lounge, but can be seen in the forward battery talking shop with Garrus or AI room talking with EDI. He'll be around Eve when Priority: Tuchanka is active, much to the krogan's amusement and annoyance. Name of Unique Mission: Taetrus: Enemy Harassment Mission Details: Turian resistance on Taetrus is hurting badly, but Juhani's contacts have secured him supplies that can tremendously help the troops on the ground. The Normandy can make a covert insertion onto the Reaper-occupied planet and deliver the goods quick and quiet and divert attention from Palaven. Mission Location: Diluvian Wildlands, Taetrus Mission Outcomes: Juhani won't be happy about returning to Taetrus, whether Pelenia survived or died during his loyalty mission in ME2 but war's war and Taetran resistance needs the warheads they're delivering. Shepard's Kodiak touches ground and the warheads are taken off in an anti-gravity trolley. It must be escorted through Reaper-held zone to their meeting point with local resistance. Their contacts are revealed to be former Facinus agents, and neither party is pleased about it. Shepard can either smooth over the volatile situation with Paragon choices or escalate the insults flying from side to another with Renegade. Eventually it is revealed that the goal of the mission was to be a test case for upcoming operation of massive scale. The Facinus agents must deliver the warheads inside a Reaper processing ship and blow it up. The trolley and warheads are left to Facinus custody while Shepard and his team create a diversion for the infiltrators. Success of the mission depends on whether Shepard played nice or jerk during the earlier meetup and how much heat the diversion team is willing to take. Paragon: With enough paragon behaviour, playing nice with Facinus and taking off the heat from them, the mission succeeds and Shepard gets to see a Reaper processor ship nuked up close. Juhani relays the data forward to Hierarchy planners, delivering vital test case intel to planners of Miracle of Palaven. 15 point War Asset named Covert Bomb Insertion Expertise is added to Hierarchy's assets. Renegade: Refusing too cooperate and alienating the Facinus contacts and denying them needed cover for insertion, the mission fails. No data was gathered and Reapers were given forewarning of the new tactic. -15 point War Asset named Covert Bomb Insertion Reveal is added to Hierarchy's assets. 10 000 credits are added to Shepard's balance with small sum of reputation and Paragon/Renegade points. Unique Power: Distract: Juhani can steal attention from Shepard and direct enemy fire in his way. Evolves into multi-target distract or super-strong shielding to keep focus longer on him instead of Shep, and further evolutions can add flashbangs or smoke grenades. Romance: Still refuses to be romanced by either gendered Shepard. However, friendly interactions on the Citadel will make him finally reveal the incident behind his defection to Shepard, when he worked at the embassy. An AIS operative wanted him to slip fake intel to the Hierarchy, but he opted for defection on spur of the moment, preferring turians over humans. Juhani believes there's only two sides left now, that of the sentient organic life and Reapers, and no division like Hierarchy or Alliance should remain at moment like this. War Assets: Juhani can be also deployed off the Normandy for war assets at 20 points' value in the Hierarchy's pool, as a Reaper task force expert. Dialogue: Upon recruitment, Juhani will remark on the new look of the Normandy but expresses worry over what Alliance will think of a turncoat like him on the ship. When on Citadel, he'll be in the Purgatory knocking back drinks like no tomorrow, believing better drink up while there's still booze to be had and time for it. If on Sur'Kesh, he'll remark the place looks pretty but the heat and humidity remind him of a sauna. When Eve is brought onto the ship, Juhani will quickly strike up a chat and befriend her. They might or might not have a quick affair. Juhani won't like being on Tuchanka because of the climate and dust, and the everpresent ruins remind him of his nightmares as younger when he discovered post-apocalyptic genre. Arid Rannoch gets the same dislike too over hot climate. Seeing Thessia will make him depressed, even doubly so after Kai Leng makes away with the prothean VI. Juhani will be slouched over the Normandy's bar counter and won't engage in talk until Horizon, when he becomes enraged at Cerberus for what they've done with the refugees. Assaulting the Cerberus base with Juhani will see him screaming at the troopers all the time, venting out all the anger. He'll also skewer Kai Leng's head with an omni-blade after the duel, depriving Shepard of a cool stabbing sequence. By Priority:London he will be delirious and fails to present a cohesive posture, cackling randomly and sobbing while fighting. When talked to by Shepard, he'll put up one rare show of integrity and say he'll kill as much as he can of the Reaper bastards before he dies, for it is the least he can do after they've ruined both of his homeworlds. Downloadable Content: If taken to Despoina in the Leviathan DLC, Juhani will appear jittery and nervous all the time, describing a constant chill inside his body and feeling of being watched. After witnessing a Reaper fall to the power of Leviathans, he will quietly wonder how badly they are fucked now that things with this magnitude of power are involved in the war, and what they will do if Reapers are defeated. During Citadel DLC, Juhani can be seen at the Silver Coast Casino bar in company of a krogan. If Shepard strikes up a chat, Juhani will introduce the krogan to the commander as his companion...for tonight at least. Should they both survive the war it might blossom into a longer relationship. At the party, Juhani will hang along Wrex, Grunt or Garrus in that order, or if none of the three are present at the party, he will be in the jacuzzi alone with booze. Activities with Shepard feature playing Kepek-Yakshi at the Castle Arcade. "Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past." - George Orwell |

MASS EFFECT 2
Character: Shaart Klarkoi Class: Infiltrator Acquirement Prerequisites: After Horizon Acquirement: Eternity bar at Illium Shaart will appear as a mysterious person clad in an envirosuit, not unlike a quarian in the sidebooth where Miranda's contact is. He will advertise his special forces expertise to Shepard, and the commander can recruit Shaart through dialogue and 50 000 credit transaction. Location on the Normandy: Meeting/QEC room on the command deck. Name of Loyalty Mission: Shaart: Dustbin Of History Mission Details: When Turvess joined the galactic community, they publicly sent many delegates to the galaxy like Shaart, but there was another covert transfer of people that occurred. Raloi nations sent their worst criminals, dissenters and undesirables away from the homeworld upon pain of death for those who thought of returning. Shaart has learned that one of the undesirables was a notorious criminal he had fought in the wars prior to first contact. This criminal is now running a slaver enterprise of her own on Omega, continuing from what she was cut off from on Turvess. Shaart wants to kill her and smash the enterprise apart. The raloi's name will not be besmirched with slavery right at first contact. Mission Location:Omega Mission Outcomes: Shepard must pretend to be a customer seeking the slaver's services. Shaart will need the commander to scout ahead for him as he infiltrates the stronghold. Shepard can chat up with the other clients, guards and servants in the meanwhile for Paragon/Renegade points. Using Intimidate or Charm on the people present will yield useful hints on the slaver woman. Shaart will need Shepard to tell him when it's safe to bypass guards, disable an alarm and create a distraction for another pair of guards before the slaver will see Shepard. The commander will have to stall the woman so Shaart can get into the same room as Shepard is in, and here the Charm/Intimidate options earlier will come to play. Shaart will also remark that the slaver has a private shuttle docked right next to the room Shepard is in, no doubt for quick escape if business goes awry. Paragon (Loyalty Achieved): Shepard stalls the slaver long enough for Shaart to bust through the ventilation shaft above them and drop on the raloi woman. A fist-fight with impressive raloi martial arts commences, but Shaart overpowers her and has her at knife's edge. Shepard will however appeal to Shaart's sense of justice and ask if he rather wants to be a bloodthirsty murderer than protector of the laws of his homeworld. He will concede to the commander's protest and take the slaver captive. They leave with the escape shuttle, and the slaver is later delivered to the raloi embassy at the Citadel. Renegade (Loyalty Achieved): Shepard stalls the slaver long enough for Shaart to bust through the ventilation shaft above them and drop on the raloi woman. A fist-fight with impressive raloi martial arts commences, but Shaart overpowers her and has her at knife's edge. Shepard will not intervene, and Shaart slits the slaver's throat. He grimaces that the slaver's death will be only the beginning of her troubles, for she has lot to answer to the raloi's gods in afterlife for slaving her kin. They leave with the escape shuttle. Loyalty Not Achieved Shepard fails to stall the slaver and she's tipped off when Shaart tries to kick the ventilation grill down. She springs a gun on Shepard and runs for the shuttle, escaping and leaving Shepard and Shaart to eat the dust in her wake. With the alarm triggered, they have to fight their way out of the stronghold. Shaart bemoans the escape of the slaver and believes his kind will be relegated to the same tier as the batarians over time if this keeps happening. Omega 4 Relay: Suitable Job:Diversionary Team Leader Defense Team Leader If the Normandy was not upgraded: Shaart is immune to effects of non-upgraded Normandy. Loyalty Power: Execute Shaart will dash towards an enemy and attack them with lethal hand-to-hand techniques. The attack bypasses shields, but is ineffective against synthetic enemies. Can be evolved into Neckbreaker that kills instantly organic opponents without shields, barriers or armor or Shieldbreaker that damages armor massively. Unique Loyalty Condition: If Shepard has won Shaart's trust, he will regal the commander with many tales and codex entries of Turvess. Romance: Shaart is not romanceable and will reply with sheer disgust to male Shepard's approaches and turn down female Shepard for "she would be disgusted by how raloi mate". Dialogue: Shaart will harass mess sergeant Gardner for using eggs in his meals for the crew and understandably refuses to eat them. After EDI has been unshackled, he will ask for its opinion about being freed and still serving the Normandy. Tali will not have any of Shaart's sympathy over his perception of the quarians "enslaving" the geth. MASS EFFECT 3 Acquirement Prerequisites:Priority:Citadel I Acquirement: Shaart will be in the docking bay D24, in his old envirosuit that looks worse for wear. He will be relieved to see Shepard survived and will ask the commander if he can rejoin the crew. Rejecting Shaart will make him visibly depressed, but he will stay in D24 until Cerberus coup. Afterwards he won't recruitable anymore, and random newspiece on the Citadel will report of a dead raloi found in the foundations. Location on the Normandy: With the communications room gone, Shaart will assume Gardner's old position at the kitchen and serve poultry-free meals for the crew. Loyalty Power:Execute Shaart will dash towards an enemy and attack them with lethal hand-to-hand techniques. The attack bypasses shields, but is ineffective against synthetic enemies. Can be evolved into Neckbreaker that kills instantly organic opponents without shields, barriers or armor or Shieldbreaker that damages armor massively. Can be further evolved to stun nearby enemies with a Clothesline or cause obscene amount of damage with an Omni-blade Gouge. Dialogue: Talking to Shaart a lot will eventually make him curse his people and homeworld for being cowards, but hints of regret not joining them in self-imposed exile are present in his dialogue. Bringing Javik on will make Shaart gravitate towards him over both being last of their species, much to the prothean's annoyance. "Your kind were little tits barely large enough for snacks in my cycle." In London, he will congratulate Shepard for making it this far and will say should they win the war, the commander would become a living legend, a paragon of freedom in the ultimate battle for self-determination. If Turvess survives the war, Shaart will do his best to have a statue of Shepard erected in his homeland. |

MASS EFFECT 2
Character: Lear'Kaus vas Hybrid Class: Quarian Infiltrator Acquirement Prerequisites: *Stop the Collectors: Acquire Reaper IFF *Shepard chose to keep Legion Acquirement: The Illusive Man will alert Shepard to a potential ally that has attempted to barter for the Geth Unit, "Legion". Lear can then be found on the Citadel, outside of the C-Sec Security checkpoint. If Shepard does not bring Legion along as a squad member, Lear will quickly and politely deflect any and all questions Shepard asks. If Shepard brings Legion along, however, Lear will wish to accompany Shepard in exchange for any and all information he can provide... Provided he can ask the Geth some questions when he has the time. If Grunt is brought along as a squad member, Lear will panic and take off irrationally. Should this happen, Lear will no longer be available to recruit for the Suicide Mission. If Legion was turned over to Cerberus, Lear will simply ask Shepard to leave him alone. Location on the Normandy: Lear will be in the Medical Bay, standing beside the door leading to the A.I. Core. If Lear is on board the Normandy when Legion's loyalty mission is completed, he will temporarily move to the cockpit, where he can be found standing near the airlock. If asked about it, he'll bluntly say that he didn't feel like being shot. Name of Loyalty Mission: Lear: The Bastion Mission Details: After acquiring the Reaper IFF, Lear will want to speak to Shepard about a small problem of his. Said problem is a group of slavers operating from Omega that might have his father, Var'Kaus, in their possession. The only problem is that they've fortified their base into a nigh-Impenetrable Bastion. Lear believes that Legion, being a special Geth unit built with more programs than usual, will be able to find an entry point. The catch? The slavers know Lear will be coming, and have laid a trap to catch him, meaning a diversion will be necessary. Mission Location: Omega (Unknown Fortified Position) Mission Outcomes: Lear will take a team with him to create a diversion while Shepard will find another way in with Legion. From there, stealth will be required until Shepard and Legion can deactivate the alarm. Shepard can earn Paragon points along the way by freeing slaves from their cells, or he/she can earn Renegade points by finalizing the transactions for the slaves on the nearby terminal. Neither option will affect the mission. If Shepard can deactivate the alarm without getting caught, he/she will head towards the location of Var'Kaus (provided by Legion). There will be very few enemies along the way, and an abundance of ammo, medkits, and power cells can be found. If Shepard gets caught either getting to, or deactivating the alarm, he/she will head towards the location of Var'Kaus (provided by Legion). There will be a very little amount of ammo, medkits, or power cells, and there will be a rather large abundance of enemies. Whether Shepard gets caught or not, Var'Kaus will not be at the provided location. Instead, Shepard will find the prototype YMIR MKII, a slower, more heavily armored version of the YMIR mech. If Shepard was not caught, then Shepard will fight the prototype on its own. If Shepard was caught, however, a damaged gunship and FENRIS mechs will join in. After the prototype is destroyed, Shepard will find a wounded turian, Caecilius Corvinus, hiding. When confronted, Caecilius will reach for the nearby Carnifex heavy pistol, and will shot himself with it. A Paragon interrupt will have Shepard step on the gun, preventing Caecilius from having it. Doing nothing will cause Caecilius to shoot himself. Paragon (Loyalty Achieved): If Shepard was not caught and prevented Caecilius from committing suicide, Lear will catch up and comment on Shepard's work. Lear will question Caecilius about where Var'Kaus is, and in response, the turian spits on his face plate saying that customer anonymity is a top priority. Relieved that his father is alive, Lear will shoot Caecilius. A Renegade interrupt will have Shepard shoot the turian, causing Lear to comment on wishing he'd gotten the chance to do that. Paragon (Loyalty Achieved): If Shepard was not caught and prevented Caecilius from committing suicide, Lear will catch up and comment on Shepard's work. Lear will see Caecilius, and will ask to know what happened. After an explanation, Lear will sadly say that he'd wanted to kill him, but thanks Shepard for killing the turian regardless. Lear will check a terminal the turian had been using, only to find it has been rigged. If Shepard initiates a Paragon Interrupt, Shepard will pull Lear away from the terminal, saving his life at the cost of the information he needed. Paragon (Loyalty Failed): If Shepard was not caught and prevented Caecilius from committing suicide, Lear will catch up and comment on Shepard's work. Lear will see Caecilius, and will ask to know what happened. After an explanation, Lear will sadly say that he'd wanted to kill him, but thanks Shepard for killing the turian regardless. Lear will check a terminal the turian had been using, only to find it has been rigged. If Shepard does not initiate a Paragon Interrupt, the terminal will explode, killing Lear. Renegade (Loyalty Failed): If Shepard was caught and did not prevent Caecilius from committing suicide, Lear will catch up and criticize Shepard for his/her lack of stealth. Lear will see Caecilius, and will demand to know what happened. After an explanation, Lear will turn on Shepard, stating that all his hard work was for nothing. At this point, Lear can be charmed or intimidated into standing down (if Shepard's Charm/Intimidate is high enough). Otherwise Legion will shoot Lear in the stomach, and, due to having a weakened immune system, the Quarian will die. A Renegade option has Shepard shoot him in the stomach, followed up by Shepard telling him that mutiny is not tolerated around him/her. Renegade (Loyalty Achieved): If Shepard was caught and prevented Caecilius from committing suicide, Lear will catch up and criticize Shepard for his/her lack of stealth. Lear will interrogate Caecilius about Var'Kaus' whereabouts, and in response, the turian spits on his face plate saying that customer anonymity is a top priority. Relieved that his father is alive, Lear will shoot Caecilius. A Renegade interrupt will have Shepard shoot the turian, angering Lear as he states that he had wanted to kill the turian. Omega 4 Relay: Suitable Job: Tech Specialist Escort If the Normandy was not upgraded: *If Loyal: Lear will die when the Normandy's drive core overloads (Kinetic Barrier Updrage was not purchased) *If Not Loyal: Lear will die in the dogfight against the Collector Cruiser (Thanix Cannon Upgrade was not purchased) Loyalty Power: Calamity Grenade: Lear's experimental grenade is ready to show the Collector's what true fear is! Acting like a sticky grenade, the grenade does not immediatly detonate, instead causing a singularity effect, pulling unarmored and unshielded targets toward it before violently exploding. Very effective against armored targets, but weak against barriers. Unique Loyalty Condition: After Lear's loyalty mission, Lear can be found arguing with Jacob over killing Caecilius. Shepard must take a side, and the loyalty of whatever side he/she does not take. Said loyalty can be regained in a following conversation. Romance: While Lear cannot be romanced, a FemShep can push to become Close Friends with him. Lear will shyly tell Shepard that he'll think about it, should she push him enough. Before the Suicide Mission, Lear will visit Shepard in her quarters. He'll awkwardly tell her that he isn't ready for any form of relationship, but will be there whenever she needs someone to talk to or hold on to. Dialogue: While usually keeping to himself, Lear can sometimes be found asking Dr. Chakwas about various medical issues. Mostly small things, but medical issues nonetheless. During Tali and Legion's heated debate, Lear will move up to the cockpit. Jockey attempts to tease him, but the Quarian isn't paying enough attention to notice. Lear will sometimes speak with EDI, but quickly backs out of conversation when he remembers she is a Cerberus AI. Lear will ask Legion questions from time to time about the Geth. Said questions are usually met with Lear being told to try again later. MASS EFFECT 3 Acquirement Prerequisites: Priority: Citadel II Acquirement: If Lear survived the Suicide Mission, Shepard will find him in the Huerta Memorial Hospital. Should Shepard talk to him, he will be happy to see Shepard alive. Lear can be asked to rejoin the Normandy, otherwise he will remain at the hospital. *Lear can only be recruited before Priority: Geth Dreadnought. He is no longer available to be recruited afterwards. Location on the Normandy: Lear will take his place in the Medical Bay, and, if Dr. Chakwas was reinstated, is happy so see at least one familiar face. If Dr. Michel was recruited instead of Chakwas, Lear admits he feels uncomfortable around so many unfamiliar faces. Unique Power: Calamity Grenade: Lear's experimental grenade is ready to show the Collector's what true fear is! Acting like a sticky grenade, the grenade does not immediatly detonate, instead causing a singularity effect, pulling unarmored and unshielded targets toward it before violently exploding. Very effective against armored targets, but weak against barriers. Can be evolved to have either a larger singularity effect (pulls in more enemies over a greater distance) at the cost of less damage, or a more violent explosion at the cost of a smaller singularity effect. Romance: Regardless of whether or not Shepard pushed Lear or not, Lear is not a romance option this time around. War Assets: While he has no unique mission of his own, Lear will add to an existing asset depending on Shepard's choices. *Shepard saved Admiral Koris: Lear will question Shepard's judgement on saving the Admiral, but will quickly admit that it was probably the right decision (+5 to Quarian Civilian Fleet. +10 if Koris was not saved) Dialogue:[/quote] If Legion did not survive, Lear will comment on how he hates the Geth VI, calling it a mockery of the memory of a good team member and friend. Should Shepard pick the Quarians over the Geth, Lear will say "Good Riddance" to the Geth VI's death. Should Shepard pick the Quarians over the Geth, Lear will have his eyes closed and will be looking away when Shepard kills Legion. If peace is made, Lear can be found at the Normandy's bar, sad over the loss of a friend, but also happy at the peace between the Quarians and the Geth. In London, Lear can be found sitting on a pile of rubble with a Geth Infiltrator. When talked to, he'll jokingly complain about the Geth Infiltrator that's been following him recently before saying goodbye to Shepard. Lear will tell a FemShep that, in the event that he died, he'd put in a good word for her with the Ancestors. "It's your words that gave me courage. They became my light that would guide me towards the right path again." ~Unknown Avatar courtesy of the wonderful asari_promiscuity

ME2
Character: Lyra Palmer Acquirement Prerequisites: Freedom's Progress Acquirement: Lyra Palmer can be found working on a ship at Lathal Docks. After a short chat she will join Shepard. Location on the Normandy: Mess Hall will be the first area she occupies. If Zaeed is recruited and certain requirements fulfilled, she will relocate to the starboard cargo area. Name of Loyalty Mission: No official mission. Loyalty: (Fourteen must be fulfilled for loyalty.)
Alternatively, 100% renegade will win loyalty. Omega 4 Relay: Squad Leader The Vents (Engineer) Escort If the Normandy was not upgraded: She's in the secondary pilot spot just in case so upgrades do not effect her status. Loyalty Power: Sledgehammer ammo. Random tidbits:
ME3 Path #1 The Earth Experience! (CDN Canon (Somewhat)) Occurs if never recruited in ME2. Palmer will be in the shuttle that extracts Shepard. It is possible to converse with her in the last room about various places on Earth and their condition. She is part of the final charge. Path #2 Requirement: Palmer and Zaeed started a relationship. She is found to be with Zaeed during Citadel: Volus Ambassador. Zaeed’s war asset score gets bumped up to 50 instead of 25. Conversation with her is possible over the intercom during Priority: Earth. The extended cut dlc shows that she is with Zaeed on the beach is Destroy was chosen. Path #3 If Palmer was recruited for the events of ME2, one can find Palmer on the Citadel after the events of mission on Palaven. She is located in the area of the docks. Outcome #1 If she is not conversed with before the events of the Cerberus Attack, Shepard will hear about some red haired human who went crazy when Cerberus attacked the docks and took out an entire squad by herself. Outcome #1.5 If loyalty was achieved in ME2, she will have lived and is still present on the docks. If completely ignored for the whole game, the extended cut will show that she is helping rebuild with some krogans. If loyalty was not achieved in ME2, see Outcome #2. Outcome #2 Was recruited. 1-4 requirements fulfilled. In this path following the conversation with Shepard on the Citadel, Shepard decides that it would be best for both of them if Palmer did her own thing for the war. She agrees with Shepard and leaves. Following the attack on the Citadel, Shepard receives a message from Palmer asking if he/she wants to come along with a raid on a major Cerberus dockyard. Shepard can either accept or reject the offer. If the offer is taken, a flag appears on the Galaxy Map denoting the meeting point. It is a time based mission and will be gone after the events of Geth Dreadnought. If the mission is done, it will become clear that Palmer is taking the dockyards for herself. Shepard can either allow that to happen or convince her to give the dockyards to the Alliance. She then becomes a war asset with a score of 25. If she is allowed to keep the shipyard, the extended cut shows her looking at a fleet of ships over a planet. If the mission is not done in this outcome, one will find that during the combat that takes place during Priority: Cerberus Headquarters, there will be a uniquely skinned Combat Engineer without a turret on her back in the tunnel area. She will retreat if taking serious damage all the way to TIM’s chair room if necessary but is entirely killable during the whole process. The assignment for outcome #2 is offered and if Shepard did not deign to show up, he/she receives a message from Palmer detailing what happened there along with another offer to accompany Palmer on an assignment. This time Palmer is going up against the Reapers on Terra Nova in an attempt to liberate the colony. Shepard can either assist or not. If Shepard does assist, the colony gets liberated. If Shepard does not assist, he/she receives a new article detailing a failed attack on Terra Nova. Outcome #4 10-13 requirements fulfilled. In this path following the conversation with Shepard on the Citadel, Shepard decides that it would be best for both of them if Palmer did her own thing for the war. She agrees with Shepard and leaves. The assignments of outcome #2 and #3 are offered and regardless of whether Shepard got involved or not, she survives. In addition to the message sent detailing the assignment of #2 if Shepard was not there, there is another message sent detailing the assignment of #3 if Shepard was not there. Palmer finally shows up again at Priority: Horizon. At the entrance is a datapad left by her detailing that she is bringing a group of persons she just rescued here and upon landing, her instincts said this place was untrustworthy and that she was going in to investigate why. Outcome #5 14-19 requirements fulfilled or 100% renegade earned. In this path following the conversation with Shepard on the Citadel, Shepard decides that it would be best for both of them if Palmer did her own thing for the war. She agrees with Shepard and leaves. As with Outcome #4, outcomes #2 and #3 happened successfully regardless of whether or not Shepard showed up. This time however, when completing Priority: Horizon, the datapad is not the last sight of her. This time she is found slowly bleeding out due to wounds at the point where Shepard has to turn on the power. Shepard can give her two medigels to heal her or move on. If Shepard moves on, Palmer is found in the med bay after the mission and is conversable with on a variety of matters regarding the war in the Terminus systems, along with her plans after recovering and the end of the war. In this case, she is not seen again until the extended cut where is she wearing the Alliance Uniform of a General. If Shepard gives Palmer two medigels to get better, Palmer is found in the med bay after the mission and is conversable with on a variety of matters regarding the war in the Terminus systems, along with her plans after recovering and the end of the war. In this case, she is present during Priority: Earth and is findable in the area that Wrex/Wreav/Kirahhe/STG Officer is giving his speech. She is found chatting with someone named Ontrose and when Shepard comes along, halts that conversation. A discussion is had on the post war festivites and activities that will be had and if Wrex or Wreav is giving a speech, Palmer will say she’ll be watching the krogan carefully. As the Crucible fires, she is seen fighting over an injuried Ontrose until the energy wave hits the pair. The extended cut slides show her relaxing with Ontrose on Terra Nova. Outcome #6 In this path following the conversation with Shepard on the Citadel, Shepard decides that it would be best to have Palmer come back aboard the Normandy. She takes up residence in Thane’s old room. If the reporter has been brought on board, Palmer will say she should have Zaeed’s old room, not some reporter. Five conversations are had during the events of the game regarding the war in Citadel Space, the war in Terminus Space, life and artificial intelligence, Cerberus, and the matter of the Reapers. If all five conversations are had the power Shield Boost will be unlocked. See Outcome #5 for events on Earth and afterwards. On the Move. |
