[Culture] Prague Philharmonic Orchestra of Earth Begins Interstellar Tour.
Stella Nemec, ANN. Prague, Greater Bohemia District. Today, after their last planet-side concert, the talented musicians of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra are packing up their cellos and violas in their preparation for a grand galactic voyage. The members of his historical orchestra are preparing to kick off their tour next week on the citadel with great excitement. They will visit many worlds, including Thessia, Palaven, Sur'Kesh, Illium and Dekuuna in the next few months of the tour. Tickets on many venues have already been sold out. The orchestra will play a collection of the best classical music that Humanity has to offer, spreading the ancient notes of Earths very own composers through the stars. Sanna M'seeza, a spectator of today's concert here in Prague shared her impressions with us. "Do not miss it! It is a truly spectacular performance played by talented people on beautiful instruments. It's guaranteed to evoke the most wonderful emotions in everybody as it speaks to your soul through the universal language of music! I will see them again on the Citadel for sure". Do not miss the first concert of the tour at the Citadel's Dilinaga Concert Hall! A live stream of the event will be available on our website while you can purchase your tickets [here]! I'd say something about this being a fantastic way to expand your horizons and learn a thing or two about a new culture. But I find human "classical" music absolutely headache inducing for whatever reason

WavesHaveBroken This one is unsure what to place here. Greetings! |
It's guaranteed to evoke the most wonderful emotions in everybody as it speaks to your soul through the universal language of music! This one is aware of the importance played by music in many religious and spiritual traditions. It will surely try to attend the Citadel performance! If it is not busy... "I was blind, and I cannot say I had eyes to see the truth. I was a fool, and I cannot say I had sense to know the truth. I was lost, and I cannot say I could have found the truth. In the darkness, truth found me." |

I'm looking forward to seeing the concert at the Citadel when it arrives. The Prague Philharmonic is one of the greatest still extant classical human group, and I particularly like their rendition of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture from the Paris 2179 Concert Recording. I think it's one of the more beautiful musical sets. I wonder if the conductor is planning on performing it again on account of the recent victory over the Reapers. It seems fittingly proper. Christ. I'm all for patronizing the arts, but this thing is a dental menace. Gotta do something to make this music sound less like the squealing of dying moxies you know. |

I don't think I will be in attendance, to much on my plate at the moment, but I will do my best to stream it. Human classical music is often relaxing to me. I must have missed the 1812 Overture though, I don't recognize the title. I shall have to look it up.

Oh yes, do so. It's quite soothing, be sure you turn up the volume though, it'll help you pick up the nuance. |

I am looking forward to this for weeks now! The Dillinaga Hall is just the right place for them to play. I have never heard a philharmonic orchestra live.

Aha, it's back on! (For those who hadn't heard - no reason anyone offworld would - there was some question as to whether the Illium leg of the tour would go ahead. Evidently it will, awesome.) I wasn't sure we were going to get tickets, what with all the on-again-off-again that had been going on, but luckily a client of mine in Arts Directorate came through for us.
