WavesHaveBroken This one is unsure what to place here. Greetings!
This one has decided it will be seeking accommodation aboard the Citadel itself. It is certainly not severing its ties with its scholarly community, but it has concluded that it may be healthier for this one to spend time formulating its own identity. As such, it has been attempting to locate a suitable dwelling in Tayseri Ward. It is very enthusiastic about coming to fully integrate into the Citadel community, and wonders if the respectable others might have pointers or suggestions regarding possible habitation (it admits to being somewhat uncertain)?

Is living on Tayseri an absolute necessity? It asks because it can remember looking for accommodation and Tayseri being particularly lacking in places suitable for a hanar (although that was some years ago, the situation may have changed). It may be biased, but Zakera is a lot more suitable, not only in affordable hanar-ready accommodation, but leisure activities as well.

If one is set on Tayseri make sure the other checks everything before, especially water quality. They put in all sorts of chemicals that may not get filtered out when it comes into one's home. Then again, that happens even on Zakera sometimes.

Congratulations! Stepping out there on your own may be difficult, and you may end up requiring a roommate when you get out on your own for the first time. That being said, it would be best for you to screen potential roommates using various extra-net sites that are designed for that, such as ZakeraLiving and Find-A-Roomie. I know my advice can only get you so far, and I've only had to look for roommates to help me pay the bills a few times in my life, (I've been blessed with a very enduring bank account via my mother and previous employer) but if you find one that you like, then you can keep your dream of independence going on that much longer.

By the way, Laykalar, Paul wants to send you a collection of documentaries about Earth and life in the solar system. Some of them are 100th anniversary remasters of old ones that were excellent, and other ones such as Dark Harvest came out just earlier this year. He needs an address to send them to, and I certainly didn't twist his arm for educational things for you (You asked for books and literature).

wherever the other decides to stay in Tayseri ward it recommends finding a place as far away from Little Rannoch as possible unless it desires its electronics to be stolen.

This one welcomes the other to the Hungry Tides. Located [here] on the Tayseri ward.

This one has been thinking things through, and believed it would benefit from further independence. It is glad that the other agrees with the assessment!

It thanks the other for the useful perspective. It does acknowledge the convenience of Zakera, but it would prefer to seek accommodation in Tayseri. Not only does its work take place there, but such work requires an understanding of local conditions and the life experiences of the residents it is helping to assist. It therefore believes that accommodation on the ward itself is preferable. It will certainly keep the other's advice regarding water quality in mind.

It thanks the other for the advice, and the congratulatory comment! It would greatly enjoy having intellectually stimulating companionship - indeed, it imagines that being unable to frequently converse with fellow acolytes will be one of the more troubling adjustments it will have to make. It will eagerly investigate potential partners!

This one would be delighted! At present, it is still mooring aboard its vessel, but if the relevant collection were delivered to the Leaving the Ducts office, this one would be able to take possession of it. It extends its gratitude to Mr. Duffy!

Paul and I can meet you at a dock of your choosing? It's only a data OSD. A very large data OSD.
Also, I get the feeling that I've bugged the LTD offices and it's occupants too much lately.

Snow
Well Laykalar, I wouldn't recommend where I'm staying, a hostel isn't the best place for a permanent residence.
