Isadore
Isadore sat in the cold lab, flexing his mettalic fingers and watching the Turian doctor/mechanic twisting an omni wrench in his upper arm. A bolt of pain shot through him and he growled

Watchit with that wrench Hadrius, you just hit the nerve again!

Hadrius grimaced, "Sorry boss, this acctuator is is tiny. The doctor gave the offending part a final tweak and withdrew his tool. There, give it a try now.

Isadore rotated his thumb and clacked it against the tips of both his fingers. Thats much better Hade, what did you do? Isadore asked the turian curiously, eager to expand his knowledge of his own body.

I just tightened up the third and forth actuaters and loosened the tensioners on acctuaters two and five. Squeeze as hard as you can, I need to make sure they arent too tight the doctor commanded in his soft, gravely voice, looking closely at the myriad wires and cables contained in the scaled, titanium alloy limb.

Isadore complied, balling his fist tight enough to make his metal digits creak and groan from the stress. With a tense grunt, the Krogan's arm went dead, dropping to the steel table with a thunk. Thats too tight, it brushed a nerve He told the doctor, reaching for the bottle of vodka he had brought for this specific reason.

Hadrius examined the cybernetic limb, scratching a mandible absently. He reached into the mess of electronics with a clawed finger and poked at something that made Isadore choke. Slowly swallowing the flavorless liquid, he turned to the turian with burning passion in his eyes

Touch that again, spike, and I'l rip that claw off and gouge out yer eyes with it

Hadrius frowned and prodded another part of the arm, shooting out the blade that was hidden in it. The blued metal gouged into the tabled with a squeel of tearing metal. Look boss, you have to get a new arm, this one is bunk The turian emphaszed by pointing to a dent between two rows of scales. The armor here forced the interior frame into the nueral command processor and the nerve inputchip is cracked.

The security chief sighed, he knew that the turian was right, and he couldnt afford to keep having his hand go dead, it had alread crushed a couple of bottles of alcohal and killed the mood with Ariyah a few times. Pulling the cosmo-titanium blade from the table, he sheathed it and rubbed his for plate, feeling the headache coming.

Alright Hadrius, you win, but it will take a few days, maybe even a week getsomething worth having made up.

The doctor just smiled and reached under the table, hefting a steel case up and plunking it on the table with a muted thunk.

Actually, since I knew you would be needing a replacement soon, I have been working on something. The gravely tone had a hint of pride in it as he flicked the snaps open to reveal a pearly white cybernetic arm, identicle to the one attached to the krogan before him. The scale pattern on it was a little more subdued, resembling more a lizard or snake. The Sarrif Industries logo was emblazoned over the forearm in stark black contrast.

Shiny, pretty impressive Hade, you have good taste Isadore said, his eyes roving over the new prosthetic hungrily.

Its based off the B3-10 model we have been working on down in RnD. Aside from its obvious class and style, it has- Isadore cut him off, his eyes lighting up with giddyness like a pup with his first shotgun, The latest model of nueral command processor, complete with gel contact ports for painless connection and acclimation. Dear void Hade, I heard Breton talking about them, but I didnt thin kthey were so close to production!

A smile came to Hadrius' face at the delight of the krogan. Well, its technically not, this js a custom design, with more bells and whistles than the production model can ever hope to have, Its an ultra-light alloy, atleast fifty times lighter than your old clunker there. Its also got a hidden blade, just like your old one. And the scales are an ablative ceramic to help keep it from damaging in combat. I also took the liberty of installing a latest and greatest in sensory, the t-45 array, you will be able to feel even the lightest touch, anywhere on the peice.

Hadrius smiled at the astounded look on the krogan's scarred face. Well, should I hook it up?

Isadore didnt speak, just nodded and ket staring at the new arm.

After much cursing, whining of tools, and most the bottle of liquid pain killer, Isadore had his new arm. He lifted it and waved it around expirimentaly. Void, its so light and sensative... He thought about it and a wicked, stark white blade shot out of his arm, gleaming in the clinical white light of the small lab. Isadore smiled and swished it throught the air, then sank it back into the recesses of his new prosthetic. He offered the pearly hand to the turian doctor

Thank you Hadrius, this is... amazing.

The turian waved away the thanks Its my thanks for taking care of us so well boss. Hadrius looked at his omnitool Looks like wuittin time, why dont you head back to your alartment and show off the new limb, Im sure the lovely Ariyah will apreciate not getting squished by it.

Isadore grunted not even phased by the jibe. Thanks again, see you tomorrow Hade. With that, the krogan hopped his considerable weigt off te table and to the floor with a thud, then walked out, headed to his quaters humming a tune and flexing his new arm about.

Hadrius just smiled and set to cleaning up the mess made during the transfer.
