Okay, so I get an extramail that looks all official... telling me to go here to get my backpay from the Republics, and I arrive here at this message board... And since half the population here has no translation software (here being where I'm living) it's a little frustrating not being to speak in my native tongue.

That's why I joined. I'm a former huntress, and now a musician. That's the only way I make my money now. Still, nice to have a place to talk natively and have people understand.

Well, I'm trained on a <translator approximation: necked string instrument> and the closest thing I could find to it is a guitar, of which I have both an electric and an acoustic. Also, a techie friend of mine made an omni-tool version... which looked weird.

Another musician eh? And a guitarist to boot! Well welcome miss. I did a lot of traveling singing and playing before the war, even occasionally had a paid gig (actual credits not just bar tokens). But plans change. In any event I hope your playing helps keep you sane on a planet that can't be one of the most sophisticated if translators are so rare.
